Staff DevOps Engineer

This is an office-based role in Wrocław: you must live close to the Renoma office and be in the office three days a week. Employment is offered only under an umowa o pracę contract.

Responsibilities

• Design resilient cloud-native environments that help customers succeed at scale.
• Build and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, and automate server provisioning and application deployment.
• Build a resilient, scalable service infrastructure that can serve multiple regions.
• Deploy, monitor and scale application services.
• Build strong working relationships with software development departments.
• Plan and document work and projects.
• Take part in project management and ongoing strategic planning.
• Mentor team members and lead knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• You have 6+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE environment.
• You have 6+ years of experience working with Linux and Windows systems.
• You have a strong understanding of Kubernetes.
• You have a strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, OpenSearch, S3, FSx, Route53 and network appliances.
• You have working knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab or another CI system.
• You have a strong understanding of infrastructure as code, with Terraform preferred.
• You have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• You have a good understanding of microservice architecture.
• You have solid experience monitoring Kubernetes clusters, APM, services and AWS infrastructure using NewRelic and Prometheus.
• You can build automation tools in Go, Python, Bash and PowerShell.
• You are familiar with continuous delivery tools used with microservices.
• You have coding experience.

Conditions

Employment is under an umowa o pracę contract only.

The role is based in the Wrocław office in Renoma, with three office days a week, so you must live nearby.
