Description

The company is a live streaming service with communities built around gaming, entertainment, music, sports, cooking and more, and thousands of them gather every day.

The content team wants viewers engaged with entertaining programming that lets communities form and interact on their own.

This role leads product work in premium content such as sports, live events and streaming TV, from first idea through a successful launch.

The ideal person communicates clearly, puts customers first, judges technology well, builds processes and products that scale, and works independently while coordinating across teams on customers' behalf.

You will own the product, design and technology behind a compliant advertising experience for end customers, reporting to a Director of Product on the Monetization team.

  • Work with engineering, science, policy, operations and business teams to set the product roadmap and deliver it.
  • Work with other teams and business development partners inside the company and across its parent company to build and manage content IP relationships.
  • Start from customer needs by learning from their feedback, behavioral data and other sources, so you find pain points and build the right features over time.
  • Track KPIs and analyze metrics on the impact of addressable inventory, find gaps and drive optimization.
  • Contribute to engineering discussions on technology choices and product strategy.
  • Own launches by working with engineering, marketing and other teams to get the most from your team's work.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience setting 1-2 year product strategies and running the roadmaps that follow from them.
  • A track record of championing customer needs, including viewers and creators as end users and advertisers.
  • Experience running product experiments and analyzing product performance in depth.
  • A record of turning product ideas into projected impact.
  • Bonus Points: 2+ years of work in sports, live events, and/or streaming TV content.
  • Bonus Points: Experience with content monetization, including IP rights management.
  • Bonus Points: Experience building ad products.
