This senior program manager role for accessibility has company-wide reach. You will report to the VP of UX and sit on the Design team, owning program design, education and enablement, and the output of audits and testing. You will turn the company's goal of being welcoming to people of all abilities into a concrete plan, working with product, design, engineering and legal to solve accessibility problems at scale and set strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to expert on digital accessibility across the company, advising product and partner teams and building accessibility into processes and tools, including AI where it fits.
  • Run intake, the backlog and day-to-day operations, working with engineering, product and design leads to set priorities, resolve core accessibility issues and report regularly.
  • Lead QA work and manage QA specialists and third-party vendors. Work with engineers to add automated accessibility tests to CI/CD pipelines so testing starts earlier in development.
  • Partner with engineers, designers, product managers and researchers to find and ship high-impact changes and programs across all products.
  • Work with legal, research, policy and communications on benchmarking, goal setting, reporting and delivery.
  • Build an education program and roll out guidelines and resources for key collaborators.

Requirements

  • You have 6+ years of experience building comparable accessibility programs, QA functions and scalable accessibility practices.
  • You know accessibility best practices, guidelines and regulations, especially WCAG 2.2+ AA and the CVAA, and can advise executives on risk.
  • You have built and led an accessibility program from scratch, including creating and documenting it and driving its deliverables proactively.
  • You have worked with product, design, engineering and legal teams to deliver accessibility audits, code reviews and other advisory work.
  • You have worked on consumer accessibility for video and communications products across devices such as desktop, smartphone, gaming console and OTT services.
  • You are aware of assistive technologies used by people with disabilities.
  • You have experience with Figma, Jira and similar product development tools.
  • Bonus: You understand AI tooling and test automation for accessibility.
  • Bonus: You are familiar with the company as a user, streamer, or both.

Conditions

You can work from the San Francisco headquarters or from one of the hub locations in Seattle, WA, Los Angeles, CA, Irvine, CA or New York City, NY, on West Coast (PST) working hours.

Base salary ranges are $142,400 - $192,600 USD in San Francisco and New York, and $129,500 - $175,100 USD in Seattle, Los Angeles and Irvine, paid annually.

Final pay depends on experience, qualifications and location. The package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).

San Francisco and Los Angeles fair chance ordinances apply, and the company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
