Description

The company runs the largest live streaming service in the world, with communities built around gaming, entertainment, music, sports, cooking and more. Thousands of them are active every day.

The Commerce group has paid out over $1B a year to creators through monetization products. The team is reworking how streamers earn and how their communities engage with them.

This role owns the roadmap for interactive, mobile-first commerce tools that help streamers earn and connect with viewers.

You will set the strategy for deeper community connection through interactive features and monetization tools, and look for new ways creators can earn, engage audiences and grow their channels.

Millions of viewers support streamers on every device, and your decisions will shape how they do it.

Responsibilities

  • Set the product vision and roadmap for high-impact commerce features, weighing near-term customer and business results against longer bets.
  • Own the one-to-two-year vision and set priorities for features that let streamers connect with and monetize viewers, including future work on community engagement and creator monetization.
  • Be accountable for core streamer success metrics: interaction rates, creator earnings, viewer engagement, mobile conversion and retention.
  • Run ongoing experiments to test new features and improve results for streamers and their communities.
  • Shape the multi-screen strategy so streamers can engage and earn with their communities across all devices.
  • Work with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Research and Community teams to ship products that help streamers succeed and grow.
  • Keep the streamer at the center of every decision, so products raise earnings, strengthen community bonds and support channel growth.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager.
  • You have experience in live streaming, gaming or the wider creator economy.
  • You have worked on monetization products and know how to balance creator earnings with a good consumer experience.
  • You have built consumer-facing products at scale, especially mobile apps or creator and community tools.
  • You understand creator ecosystems well: what creators need, how communities behave, and what helps creators succeed on digital platforms.
  • You have led cross-functional initiatives and kept diverse stakeholder groups aligned.
  • You have defined 1-2 year product strategies and delivered against ambitious roadmaps.
  • Bonus: familiarity with virtual goods, digital currencies or in-app purchase systems.
  • Bonus: able to write basic SQL and use experimentation, analytics and AI tools for product analysis on your own.
  • Bonus: background in social features, chat systems or real-time interactive experiences.
  • Bonus: personal experience as a content creator or deep engagement with creator communities.
