Responsibilities

  • Set the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Advanced Ads Measurement suite, including where measurement is going and how the company will lead.
  • Form your own view of how measurement is changing, including privacy, signals, and industry standards, and turn it into strategic bets and investment priorities.
  • Connect Engineering, Data Science, Marketing Science, Sales, Partnerships, and Product Marketing so they share one measurement strategy and work toward the same goals.
  • Build lasting relationships with external measurement partners, agencies, and industry bodies so advertisers see the company's approach as credible, interoperable, and trustworthy.
  • Spot opportunities and risks in advanced measurement by meeting customers, attending industry events, and following industry forums.
  • Lead the development and delivery of high-quality products that help advertisers see the value of advertising on the platform, and own growth and adoption of the measurement suite.

Requirements

  • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to form a distinct view of the future of ads measurement and get stakeholders behind it.
  • Knowledge of causal inference and experimental design, and where these methods fit within a wider measurement strategy.
  • Knowledge of the broad measurement ecosystem, including MTA, MMM, and geo-based methods, and how advertisers weigh these against brand safety and suitability.
  • Experience with brand safety and suitability frameworks, such as GARM standards, third-party verification partners, and contextual and inventory controls, and understanding of how suitability outcomes are measured and reported to advertisers.
  • Knowledge of the changing privacy and signals landscape and how privacy-enhancing technologies will shape measurement.
  • Ability to explain deep technical and statistical ideas clearly to cross-functional partners, senior leaders, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to set a multi-year strategy, plan a roadmap, and deliver customer-impacting projects on a steady cadence.
  • Ability to align and co-own projects across teams including Ads Delivery, Signals, Attribution, Targeting, Ranking, and Trust & Safety.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority and manage competing priorities across internal and external partners.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 8+ years of experience building and shipping products at a consumer or advertising technology company.
  • Preferred: an advanced degree in Statistics or a related quantitative field, or equivalent expertise from direct work in Advanced Ads Measurement.
  • Preferred: experience setting product strategy in a fast-moving, externally facing area such as ads measurement, privacy, or data partnerships.
  • Preferred: a track record of building alignment with external partners or industry coalitions.
