Description

About Lightfield

Lightfield is reimagining CRM as a world model of a business. By learning from emails, meetings, and customer conversations, we’re building a living understanding of how a company works—so AI can help teams anticipate what comes next, make better decisions, and take action.

More than 5,000 companies have used the product since its November launch. We’ve raised more than $70M from Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, Maverick Ventures, and Greylock to attack the biggest software category in the world. We previously built Tome, which reached more than 25 million users, and our team brings experience from Llama, Instagram, Google, and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Get customers to value. Own the path from a customer’s initial goals to successful activation. Define what success means, help them set up their workflows, and follow through until Lightfield is solving a meaningful problem for their business.
  • Understand what customers really need. Spend time with the people doing the work. Ask questions, observe their processes, and uncover the business problem behind a request. Understand where their existing tools and workflows fall short.
  • Turn customer problems into working solutions. Develop a deep understanding of Lightfield and how it fits into a customer’s GTM stack. Configure workflows, work through constraints, and help customers find effective ways to use the product.
  • Shape the roadmap with evidence. Identify patterns across customer engagements and prioritize the problems worth solving. Bring clear recommendations to the product team, grounded in customer impact, business value, and an understanding of what will help the broader customer base.
  • Work with design and engineering to close product gaps. Translate delivery experience into clear problem definitions. Help evaluate potential solutions, test them with customers, and follow up to understand whether they made a difference.
  • Make successful approaches repeatable. Turn what works into reusable workflows, examples, and playbooks. Find ways to reduce the time and effort it takes for each new customer to succeed.

Requirements

  • You have strong business judgment. You understand how companies operate and connect product decisions to business outcomes. You can distinguish a pressing request from a high-value problem and explain where we should focus.
  • You’re great at working with customers. You build trust, listen closely, and ask the questions that get beyond the first answer. You can challenge an assumption, set expectations, and guide a customer toward a better solution.
  • You know the GTM tool landscape. You understand how sales, marketing, and customer success teams work, the tools they rely on, and where those tools create friction. You can see how Lightfield fits into that environment and where it can improve it.
  • You have strong product instincts. You recognize when a customer’s experience points to a broader product opportunity. You think carefully about tradeoffs and can turn a collection of requests into a clear view of what matters.
  • You’re hands-on and take ownership. You’re comfortable moving between discovery conversations, product configuration, and discussions with engineering. You get into the details, work through ambiguity, and stay accountable for the outcome.
  • Your background might be in product management, solutions consulting, customer success, or GTM operations. We’re interested in your ability to understand a customer’s business, deliver a useful solution, and turn that experience into better product decisions.
  • Why this role
  • You’ll see firsthand where Lightfield changes how a customer works and where we still have work to do. You’ll have the opportunity to turn those insights into both immediate customer outcomes and lasting product improvements. Your work will help determine how customers adopt Lightfield and what we build next.
