Description

The Trade Desk is a global technology company and the world’s leading independent platform for digital advertising, with over 3,000 employees across more than 30 offices. Our technology helps advertisers reach the right audiences across the open internet — from streaming TV and podcasts to mobile apps, news, and more.

Advertising powers the content people love. By making it more transparent, effective, and responsible, we help support trusted journalism, quality entertainment, and creators worldwide. The world’s brands and agencies rely on us to reach their customers and grow their businesses responsibly.

The scale of our platform brings unique technical challenges — from processing massive datasets in real time to building systems that operate reliably on a global scale. When you work here, your impact is worldwide. We welcome diverse perspectives, encourage curiosity, and build teams that learn from one another. If you’re driven to solve meaningful challenges, we’d love to meet you.

WHO WE ARE:

The Trade Desk is a global technology company with a mission to create a better, more open internet for everyone through principled, intelligent advertising. Handling over 600 billion queries per day (more than 100 times the query volume of search globally), our platform operates at an unprecedented scale. We have also built something even stronger and more valuable: an award-winning culture based on trust, ownership, empathy, and collaboration. We value the unique experiences and perspectives that each person brings to The Trade Desk, and we are committed to fostering inclusive spaces where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work every day.

Do you have a passion for solving hard problems at scale? Are you eager to join a dynamic, globally- connected team where your contributions will make a meaningful difference in building a better media ecosystem? Come and see why Fortune magazine consistently ranks The Trade Desk among the best small-medium-sized workplaces globally.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for driven Product Managers who learn fast, who are humble and value teamwork; who are hungry, and believe they can make our customer's world a much better place. The ideal candidate will be technical, data-driven, creative, business savvy, and love elegant user experience. They will be growth-oriented and able to strive for product-market fit with their teams.

The kind of person who joins The Trade Desk Product Team is fearless, courageous, passionate, and willing to dream big and then execute on it. We are committed to helping you grow, challenging you with hard, meaningful work, and celebrating our successes and failures together. Yes, we do fail at times because we believe the risk is part of making big bets. So we take the risks and learn from them.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The Trade Desk is a rapidly growing company, as our CEO often says: "we're only 2% done". We are facing the biggest paradigm shift in advertising in the last century as the industry moves towards data-driven, results-oriented advertising.

As a Product Manager on the Forecast and Planning team, you’ll be at the forefront of driving the team’s forecasting AI capabilities, along with expanding the capabilities of our core forecast and planning products across the entirety of The Trade Desk product set. You’ll become an expert in how best to apply AI to forecast and planning experiences. You’ll serve as a key connector between executive stakeholders, engineers, researchers, and UX designers to ensure cohesive, high-impact solutions. You will champion a user-centric approach, deeply understanding and advocating for user needs and preferences. Your decisions will be data-driven, rooted in analytics and user insights. Additionally, you will align your strategies with our company's core values and long-term objectives. You will need to navigate ambiguous situations to establish clarity through well-defined execution plans. This role also entails collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategic product roadmaps that align with business goals and user needs.
