Description

Product management here means rethinking the usual way of doing things, finding chances to create value, and building customer experiences that last, with technology at the center.

The company pioneered predictive modeling to tailor credit card offers to individuals, and customer understanding still drives how its products get built.

Small businesses drive the US economy: they make up 99% of US businesses and produce 44% of the country's GDP. The Small Business Bank team listens closely to the millions of business customers it serves each day so its products, services, and experiences meet their needs.

This Manager, Product Manager role supports the Associate Servicing team, which is working toward key company goals. It is a highly collaborative, strategic position. The team is investing heavily in AI tools that make associates' work simpler, so they can focus on the customer they are helping.

Responsibilities

  • Work with technology, operations, and business partners to give servicing associates the tools and resources they need to look after customers.
  • Help shape AI tools that simplify associates' experience so they can concentrate on the customer in front of them.
  • Lead strategy and collaboration across teams to move the Associate Servicing team's goals forward.

Requirements

  • Hold, or be finishing, a bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field, or in Business or Marketing, with the degree completed on or before the scheduled start date.
  • Or hold a bachelor's degree in any field and have at least 3 years of product management experience.
  • Show proficiency in five core product management areas: human-centered work that understands internal and external customer needs and reimagines solutions; business focus that delivers high-impact results through leverage and strong execution; technology-driven work that builds innovative, resilient solutions with near- and long-term value; integrated problem solving that resolves complex issues while managing product risk; and transformational leadership that guides cross-functional teams to solve customer problems and align the organization.
  • Preferred: experience turning business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
