Description

You will join the AI Content and Media Product team in Operations & Technology as a senior individual contributor and Technical Product Manager. The work covers machine learning systems, large-scale media workflows, metadata standards, and enterprise integrations, and turns complex technical capabilities into production-ready products used across the company.

You will be hands-on, using product judgment, technical knowledge, and delivery skill together. You will work closely with Engineering, Data Science, and Program Management, plus business stakeholders, to make sure your product delivers clear and dependable value that supports company goals.

The company is one of the largest media and entertainment businesses in the world. It creates content for film, television, and streaming, runs theme park destinations, consumer products, and experiences, and owns news, sports, and entertainment brands. It is a subsidiary of Comcast Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Engineering, Data Science, Program Management, Product, and Scrum teams to scope, build, and ship GenAI-powered features.
  • Learn how stakeholders work and what they need, then write precise product requirements and user stories.
  • Own one or more product areas and take work from early discovery through delivery and later iteration.
  • With cross-functional teams, build and keep up an outcome-based roadmap based on customer insight, technical limits, and business priorities.
  • Test products for functionality, accuracy, and performance, and support demos and product reviews.
  • After launch, own and maintain features, using feedback to keep improving them.
  • Keep product roadmaps on track so they match near-term and mid-term priorities.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors through the full lifecycle of each GenAI use case.
  • Prepare and present product updates, documentation, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Weigh tradeoffs between model quality, speed, cost, and latency with the technical teams.
  • Follow new developments in AI, LLMs, and machine learning, along with relevant vendor offerings.
  • Help identify reusable GenAI patterns and capabilities for future products.
  • Find ways to improve product capabilities, streamline operations, and gain efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide junior Product Managers day to day through feedback, collaboration, and shared work.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in product management, product development, or a technical role.
  • Proven work as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager on complex, technology-driven products.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and system behavior clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and data science teams on AI or data-driven products.
  • Strong organizational skills for handling several priorities at once.
  • Working knowledge of agile methods and current product development practices.
  • Desired: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build good working relationships across teams.
  • Desired: Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Desired: Comfort as a self-starter in a changing, ambiguous problem space.
  • Desired: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Airtable.
  • Desired: Proficiency with Lucidchart, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Desired: Experience in the Media & Entertainment industry.
