Description

The company is moving forward with a clear ambition, and it helps customers and businesses make sound financial decisions while supporting the communities it serves. Each person brings something different, and the company offers a broad range of paths for growth across a career, with room to try new work and build new skills from the first day.

Product managers here are customer-focused leaders who set product vision, strategy, planning and delivery to support the company's combined human and digital product approach, while keeping pace with changing customer, business and technology needs.

In this Pricing & Profitability Product Manager role, you will help shape the platforms and tools used for loan pricing, profitability analysis, commercial banking decisions and sales enablement. The role sits in the Sales, Credit and Servicing Center of Excellence, a full-service technology implementation group that handles product design, delivery and modernization across several strategic financial services platforms.

The group supports Salesforce, PrecisionLender, Zafin, Curinos and nCino, which handle customer relationships, lending, pricing and profitability, product onboarding and commercial banking operations. You will work with business stakeholders, technology teams, testing and release management teams and external vendors to build solutions that improve employee and customer experience, strengthen market competitiveness, support growth and manage risk.

The ideal candidate has solid product management skills and can learn complex financial products, pricing and profitability concepts and enterprise platforms quickly. The work calls for curiosity, adaptability, strong stakeholder management and the ability to turn customer and business needs into product solutions that scale.

Responsibilities

  • Build a thorough understanding of how product features, workflows, customer journeys and end-user needs fit together, and spot where enhancements would improve the experience.
  • Gain working knowledge of pricing, profitability, lending and customer relationship platforms, and find changes that improve business performance, adoption and customer results.
  • Lead product discovery, design workshops and requirements sessions with business stakeholders, end users, technology partners and vendor teams.
  • Set the product vision, priorities, desired outcomes and roadmaps so they line up with business goals and customer needs.
  • Turn business requirements into capabilities, epics, features and user stories that fit Agile delivery.
  • Manage product backlogs and work with Agile teams from design and build through testing, implementation and post-release support.
  • Work closely with technology, testing and release management teams to get product initiatives delivered successfully.
  • Help with annual roadmap planning, quarterly prioritization and capacity planning across several products and initiatives.
  • Review current platform functionality and propose changes that improve usability, adoption, efficiency, scalability and customer outcomes.
  • Work with external vendors, understanding their platform capabilities, limits and release schedules, and use that to guide product decisions.
  • Lead modernization and continuous improvement using customer feedback, business priorities, regulatory considerations and strategic goals.
  • Work well in unclear situations while balancing several priorities and competing stakeholder requests.
  • Build wide cross-functional product knowledge and contribute across multiple product areas as business priorities shift.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically eight or more years in product management, business analysis, technology delivery, data and analytics, or a related field.
  • Preferred: experience with commercial banking, loan pricing, profitability management, CRM, lending or financial services technology platforms.
  • Preferred: experience with Salesforce, nCino, PrecisionLender, Zafin, Curinos or similar enterprise business platforms.
  • Preferred: a track record of learning complex systems, products, technologies and business processes quickly.
  • Preferred: a strong grasp of product strategy, planning, discovery and product lifecycle management.
  • Preferred: experience gathering requirements, running design sessions and turning business needs into user stories and features.
  • Preferred: experience analyzing user behavior and business processes to find ways to improve functionality, efficiency and customer experience.
  • Preferred: experience working with Agile teams and delivering through iterative sprint-based methods.
  • Preferred: a customer-first mindset and a record of using customer feedback in product decisions.
  • Preferred: experience partnering with business leaders, technology teams and external vendors to get good results.
  • Preferred: knowledge of product performance metrics, adoption measures, customer experience insights and continuous improvement practices.
  • Preferred: strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred: vendor management experience, including working within the limits of vendor-supported platforms.
  • Preferred: ability to juggle several initiatives at once and set priorities well in a fast-paced setting.
  • Preferred: proven success in ambiguous situations and adjusting to changing priorities.
