Description

The company builds a data and memory platform for enterprise AI, covering the context that agents and inference need as well as tables and objects, across core, edge and cloud. It is trusted by 77% of the Fortune 100.

You will lead marketing for the channel: the resellers, distributors and global systems integrators that sell the company's platform to customers. Most of your time goes to joint marketing plans with the global focus partners, and the rest to programs that keep every partner informed, engaged and ready to sell. The role is about building. Some programs exist in early form and others do not yet, and you will have room to shape them.

Responsibilities

  • Write and run quarterly joint marketing plans with the five top focus partners, each with defined pipeline goals.
  • Work alongside Partner Managers and account executives so each plan fits the partner's business plan and the company's strategic accounts.
  • Launch co-branded campaigns, webinars, content and account-based programs that create new pipeline sourced by partners.
  • Review results with each partner every quarter, scaling what performs and dropping what does not.
  • Keep partners current on product news, launches, competitive developments and company updates through a regular newsletter and partner webinars.
  • Help maintain the partner communications calendar so it fits the campaign team's priorities and does not clash with demand generation.
  • Make sure partners hear about major announcements before or at the same time as customers.
  • Plan and support partner field events and regional gatherings worldwide, from customer roundtables to partner-hosted sessions at large shows.
  • Run every event through the partner event request process, agreeing leads, meetings, co-investment and follow-up in advance.
  • Log each event in Salesforce and report pipeline and return afterward, halting funding for events that underperform.
  • Coordinate with the corporate events team so partner presence at major shows is planned.
  • Run always-on digital programs for partner sellers that explain why the company wins and keep it top of mind when the right deal comes up.
  • Work with the digital and campaign teams on targeting, creative and measurement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in B2B marketing, at least 5 of them in channel or partner marketing at an infrastructure software, storage, data or cloud company.
  • Hands-on experience marketing with and through VARs and distributors. GSI experience is a strong plus.
  • A record of joint marketing plans that produced pipeline you can point to.
  • You have run partner field events and handled MDF.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce for campaigns, attribution and reporting.
  • Judgment to decline requests: partners and partner managers will ask for a lot, and part of the job is choosing what matters.
  • Clear writing and confidence presenting to partner executives and the company's leadership.
  • You are ready to travel.
  • Familiarity with a PRM or through-channel platform, such as Salesforce PRM, Impartner, Unifyr or ZINFI.
  • Background in AI infrastructure, data platforms or object storage.
  • Experience building a partner program from an early stage.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Omni Analytics.

Benefits

  • Health coverage including medical, dental and vision.
  • 401K plan with a 3% contribution.
  • Pre-IPO stock options.
  • At least 12 public holidays.
  • Flexible time off.
