Description

The company is a Fortune 10 business that works across almost every part of healthcare, providing insights, products, and services that help make quality care easier to reach and more affordable.

The company builds a culture where people can grow, have an impact, and bring new ideas forward, with the aim of shaping healthcare for patients, communities, and staff.

This role is a marketing partner to the Strategic Accounts Sales VPs and their account teams. You will learn the priorities, challenges, and growth goals of key customers and turn them into marketing plans for each account.

The role mixes strategy, account-based marketing (ABM), customer engagement, sales enablement, executive communications, and hands-on delivery. You will build customer-specific stories, value propositions, executive decks, and engagement plans aimed at growth, retention, and major opportunities.

You will work with Sales and other functions to combine customer insight, market intelligence, and company capabilities into clear, distinct messages for large healthcare customers.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main marketing partner for assigned Sales VPs and account teams, building a detailed understanding of each customer's priorities, needs, and growth potential.
  • Design and run ABM and customer engagement plans that support retention, growth, executive relationships, renewals, and expansion.
  • Take part in account planning, turning business priorities and customer insight into practical marketing plans.
  • Work with Sales on priority pursuits, creating tailored value propositions, messages, proof points, and sales enablement materials.
  • Produce executive narratives, presentations, QBR materials, briefings, and customer communications that show complex capabilities as clear value to the customer.
  • Adapt Strategic Accounts positioning to individual customers by selecting the capabilities and proof points that matter most to them.
  • Use market research, customer insight, industry trends, and competitor intelligence to sharpen account strategy, messaging, and engagement.
  • Work with subject matter experts and other teams to produce credible, distinct, executive-ready customer materials.
  • Spot emerging customer needs, repeatable approaches, and scalable marketing opportunities across the Strategic Accounts portfolio.
  • Track how well account marketing and customer engagement perform, and use the results to improve plans.
  • Set the marketing strategy for designated Strategic Accounts events and sponsorships, covering audience, executive involvement, briefings, messaging, talking points, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate event delivery with Corporate Events, Marketing, Sales, and other partners, and manage assigned sponsorship spend and event budgets.

Requirements

  • A degree, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
  • Typically 7+ years of experience in marketing, strategic or account-based marketing, customer marketing, communications, consulting, or a related field.
  • A record of developing executive communications, presentations, customer messaging, or strategic marketing content.
  • Preferred: a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred: experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, healthcare distribution, or another complex B2B setting.
  • Preferred: experience supporting strategic, enterprise, or key accounts while working closely with Sales or commercial teams.
  • Preferred: experience building and running ABM strategies focused on customer-specific engagement, growth, retention, and executive relationships.
  • Preferred: experience creating sales enablement strategies, content, presentations, and tools for high-value pursuits, renewals, and executive engagements.
  • Preferred: strong executive communication, presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred: the ability to turn complex capabilities, customer needs, and data into concise value propositions and executive-level narratives.
  • Preferred: experience using market research, competitive intelligence, customer insight, or performance data to shape marketing strategy.
  • Preferred: experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Preferred: experience with CRM, marketing automation, or sales enablement platforms.
  • Preferred: the ability to juggle several priorities and high-visibility deliverables at pace.
  • Preferred: experience using AI-enabled tools to work faster while keeping quality, brand consistency, and trust intact.
