Description

The role is a Marketing Manager, Global Growth Marketing, Trauma, based in West Chester, PA, within the DePuy Synthes business of Johnson & Johnson's Orthopaedics teams.

The Orthopaedics teams serve more than 6 million people a year and build solutions for joint reconstruction, trauma and craniomaxillofacial, sports, extremities and elective foot and ankle, spine, and robotics and digital surgery.

You would lead global promotion of the VOLT Plating Platform, shaping its story, turning platform strategy into differentiated messages, and building a global promotional plan that grows awareness, engagement and business.

You would work closely with agency partners, regional marketing teams and cross-functional stakeholders to create scalable campaigns and assets that can be launched across markets.

Job function: Marketing. Sub-function: Product Management. Category: Professional.

Responsibilities

  • Track trauma market conditions, customer needs, competitor moves, media and channel trends, and regional differences, and use what you learn to sharpen the platform story and find ways to raise visibility.
  • Grow the global VOLT narrative, messaging structure and value proposition into a clear, consistent story for priority audiences, turning complex platform, portfolio, clinical and technical detail into promotional content, and working with Medical, Regulatory, Legal and other reviewers to keep it compliant.
  • Lead advertising, creative, digital, production, public relations and other agencies from brief to delivery, setting direction, managing scope, timelines and budgets, giving feedback, and holding partners to high-quality, on-brand work.
  • Build and lead a global promotional plan covering campaign priorities, audiences, channels, investment needs, activation roadmaps and success measures, aligned with the wider VOLT strategy and adaptable to regional and local needs.
  • Own the strategy and development of high-end product marketing assets, planning content, production, review and release into one cohesive body of work.
  • Work with regional marketing teams to co-create campaigns, bring in market insight, and enable localization and activation, building ways of working that balance global consistency with regional relevance.
  • Lead the global campaign rollout, give regions activation guidance and implementation support, set indicators for reach, engagement, asset use and business impact, and use performance data and market feedback to improve future campaigns.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of business experience in marketing, agency, public relations or a related field is required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills are required.
  • Hands-on, fast-moving, customer-focused work is needed. International or worldwide experience is preferred.
  • The role requires about 20% travel, including weekends, both domestic and international.
  • On October 14, 2025, Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate its Orthopaedics business into a standalone company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The separation is expected to finish within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements including works council and employee representative consultation where required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions.
  • If the transaction closes, you would expect to become a DePuy Synthes employee, governed by Orthopaedics employment processes, programs, policies and benefit plans. Orthopaedics will share details of any planned changes at an appropriate time, subject to any required consultation.
