Description

The role is the Key Account Technologist, Advanced Logic, a senior technical marketing position that acts as the link between strategic semiconductor accounts, commercial teams, product marketing and business leadership on advanced logic technology.

You will turn customer technology roadmaps, market shifts and emerging use cases into concrete portfolio and growth recommendations.

The job suits someone who pairs deep semiconductor technology knowledge with strategic marketing judgment, can earn trust with customers, and can move cross-functional teams in the right direction.

You will help the company understand where major semiconductor markets are going, which costly customer problems are surfacing, and how the product portfolio should respond.

The role is based in an office and follows a standard Monday to Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, condense and share technology roadmaps for advanced logic semiconductor segments and their key accounts.
  • Spot major technology inflection points, work out what they mean, and explain their relevance to internal teams.
  • Monitor new opportunities such as logic scaling, advanced packaging, photonics, heterogeneous integration and other strategic growth areas.
  • Gather and combine field input on new use cases, customer frustrations, workflow gaps and high-value problems.
  • Test how market and technology shifts affect the company's portfolio, covering current strengths, gaps and openings.
  • Run Technology Roadmap Meetings with strategic accounts, including preparation, clear goals, usable outcomes and follow-up.
  • Convert customer and market findings into recommendations for product management, product marketing, sales and leadership.
  • Work with Product Marketing Management to set product innovation priorities, pinpoint high-value problems, and build supporting collateral and business cases.
  • Help surface novel customer problems, technology gaps or workflow opportunities that could become invention disclosures or patent filings.
  • Give executives regular updates on roadmap trends, account insights, technology shifts and portfolio impact.
  • Deliverables:
  • Publish quarterly updates on logic roadmap trends and major technology shifts.
  • Publish emerging technology notes when needed, covering areas such as advanced packaging and photonics.
  • Hold Technology Roadmap Meetings for strategic accounts twice a year.
  • Lead planning, coordination, documentation, follow-up and action tracking for each Technology Roadmap Meeting.
  • Identify one or two high-value problems or portfolio gaps per planning cycle, and gather the technical and commercial material needed to define the gap, its customer impact and its business implication.
  • Work with Product Marketing Management to drive product innovation from validated high-value problems.
  • Support invention disclosure forms, patent filings and related innovation records where relevant.
  • Give leadership and cross-functional stakeholders a report-out each quarter.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, physics, chemistry, semiconductor technology or a related technical field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Substantial experience in semiconductors, semiconductor equipment, process technology, metrology, failure analysis, yield improvement or related technical markets.
  • A clear grasp of semiconductor technology roadmaps, including changes in devices, processes, packaging or manufacturing.
  • Experience working with strategic accounts, field sales, applications, product management, product marketing or technical marketing teams.
  • Ability to spot customer inflection points and turn them into portfolio, commercial and innovation implications.
  • Strong analysis and synthesis skills, with the ability to turn complex technical and market inputs into clear executive communication.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including the ability to persuade senior technical and commercial leaders.
  • Proven success working across functions in a matrixed environment.
