Project Delivery Manager

Description

The company is a large industry leader whose finance teams support business and functional decisions. Finance covers planning and analysis, tax, treasury, financial reporting, audit, investor relations, strategy and corporate development, and accounting, with a diverse, global presence.

This is an office-based role on a standard Monday to Friday schedule. You will lead the functional side of an end-to-end Oracle Financials implementation, working with finance leaders, Group and Corporate IT, site teams, SOX, and implementation partners to set requirements, align global processes, run user testing, and drive adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead business execution and readiness across the full implementation lifecycle: requirements, testing, training, data conversion, cutover, Go-Live, hypercare, and stabilisation.
• Coordinate business requirements with Workstream Leads, Super Users, and Subject Matter Experts so they are documented, validated, approved, and traceable through delivery.
• Lead the business testing strategy and its execution, including test planning, UAT coordination, business validation, defect management, regression testing, and formal business sign-off.
• Own business data readiness, coordinating validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and migration sign-off.
• Lead business cutover planning and execution, making sure activities, dependencies, ownership, and readiness criteria are defined and completed.
• Work with the Training and Change Leads on training development, scheduling, communications, user readiness, and adoption.
• Run business readiness assessments, identifying gaps and putting remediation plans in place before key milestones and Go-Live.
• With the IT Project Manager, set up the Hypercare and stabilisation model, including support structure, issue triage, escalation, and resolution.
• Manage business risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions, escalating material concerns to the Business Programme Manager and project leadership.
• Track and report business delivery status, giving clear visibility of progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, and readiness.
• Work across Business, IT, ETO, and implementation partners to keep functions aligned and deliver end to end.
• Day to day, you will improve business processes with cross-functional teams, build working relationships with colleagues and leaders, coordinate across geographies, business areas, and functions, and help shape future processes with program leadership. You will apply systems and tools to spot risks and issues and help teams hit Oracle Financials Implementation milestones.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent formal academic or vocational qualification.
• 5 to 7 years of experience implementing Oracle ERP or Financials systems.
• Proven experience aligning key business users and working with a Change Champion Model.
• Strong project and resource management skills.
• Sound judgment and decision-making, including in complex situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence people at every level and build relationships.
• Cultural awareness to work effectively across geographies and cultures.
• Expertise in process improvement techniques.

Conditions

Standard Monday to Friday schedule, based in the office.

Travel of 10-25% domestic and international, required.
