Description

The company builds the tools and experiences developers use to create their own financial products. Millions of people rely on those tools to manage their money. It works with thousands of businesses, including Venmo, SoFi, several Fortune 500 firms and many of the largest banks, to link financial accounts to the apps and services people want to use. Its network covers 12,000 financial institutions in the US, Canada, UK and Europe.

Founded in 2013, the company is based in San Francisco and has offices in New York, Seattle, Washington D.C., Raleigh, London and Amsterdam.

The Credit Product Marketing team drives go-to-market success for new and existing Credit products. It works with product, partnerships and GTM teams to learn customer pain points, open new markets and grow the Credit product portfolio.

This Product Marketing Manager role for Credit is a close partner to the Credit product team, covering each product from alpha to general availability. You will help decide what gets built and shape the GTM strategy that drives sales and adoption at scale.

You will own messaging and positioning for the whole Credit area, build ICPs and customer insights for product and sales, and create enablement so the GTM team can win. You will work with Product, Revenue and Marketing to keep the Credit story clear, differentiated and visible in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Product-market fit: gather market signals on your own, including customer feedback, competitor intelligence, pricing data and TAM analysis. Own ICP development and upkeep. Guide Credit products through alpha and beta, running the design partner process. Give data-backed advice on features, architecture and pricing to product, and speak for customer needs in roadmap reviews.
  • Customer insight: build and maintain ICPs for Credit independently. Lead customer discovery and turn qualitative and quantitative findings into action. Define audience targeting for Credit use cases. Regularly bring customer themes to Product with Credit GTM, backed by evidence.
  • Messaging: own end-to-end messaging and positioning for Credit. Build narratives that run from the core value proposition to the full story. Test messages through experiments, research and field use. Update them as products, competitors and GTM results change. Work with other PMMs on Credit and cross-product messaging.
  • GTM strategy: create and run GTM strategy and launch plans for Credit products. Set program goals, track adoption and funnel metrics, plan integrated campaigns with marketing channel owners, and clear blockers to execution.
  • Sales enablement: own all GTM and sales enablement for Credit on your own. Keep collateral easy to find, current and reliable across channels. Run sessions suited to the audience and sales stage. Collect sales feedback routinely and fold it into new materials. Spot and fill enablement gaps before anyone asks.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years in product marketing or another strategic GTM role at a B2B software company.
  • Credit or lending experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written, storytelling and visual communication skills, with content that speaks to lenders.
  • Strong ability to plan and run integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Willingness to work closely with Revenue, Marketing, Product, Design and Engineering, and to understand how the solutions work and deliver value to customers.
  • Strong presence and clear verbal communication.

Conditions

Additional compensation in equity and/or commission depends on the position offered.
