Responsibilities

• Set the direction for designing and building data engineering solutions across Oracle, Snowflake and Azure.
• Lead Oracle modernization and migration work, covering data movement, ETL and ELT, change data capture and cloud data platforms.
• Mentor engineers, review their code and set engineering standards across the team.
• Write and tune complex Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Snowflake code, and design the data integration logic behind it.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, APIs and near real-time data synchronization.
• Work with product owners, architects and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Improve performance and reliability, run operations smoothly and support production systems.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering.
• Deep skill in database design, performance tuning and data modeling.
• Hands-on work with Snowflake, Azure, data warehousing, ETL and ELT, and cloud data platforms.
• Experience moving systems from Oracle to Snowflake and modernizing data estates.
• Experience with Astronomer Airflow.
• Experience with Kafka, MQ, CDC or similar event-driven technologies.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON and integration patterns.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting and Control-M or an equivalent scheduling tool.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD and Agile delivery.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Preferred: background in financial services or wealth management.
• Preferred: experience leading large-scale enterprise data platforms.
• Preferred: experience with reporting and analytics solutions.
• Preferred: exposure to modern data architectures and real-time data processing.

Conditions

Base pay range is $114,500 to $194,700 USD. This is a good faith estimate of base pay.

You must be authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future without employment-based visa sponsorship.
