Sr. Data Engineer – Power Automate RPA

Description

Senior data engineering role, reference 4618, with Power Automate RPA as the main skill and data engineering as the second.

You will work on workflow automation, enterprise application integration, and data pipelines, Snowflake warehousing, Python automation and Power BI analytics for automotive and fleet management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain Power Automate RPA workflows that automate business processes.
• Create and fix automated workflows using Power Platform features, API connectors, Teams, SharePoint, Azure Service Bus and vendor APIs.
• Write Python scripts that validate data quality, orchestrate APIs and run custom ETL steps.
• Design and maintain data pipelines across Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake and ADLS.
• Build Snowflake data models, star schemas, materialized views, Streams, Tasks and Snowpark Python UDFs.
• Create Power BI semantic models, DAX measures, Power Query transformations, paginated reports and row-level security, integrated with Power BI Premium and Fabric.
• Set up data quality checks and monitoring with Snowflake Streams and Azure Purview.
• Support integrations with ADLS Gen2, PostgreSQL, Service Bus Topics and Queues, Kafka, Azure Event Hubs or similar streaming tools.

Requirements

• You have 6+ years of data engineering experience.
• You have 2+ years of Snowflake experience.
• You have 3+ years of Power BI or Power Automate experience.
• You have hands-on Power Automate RPA development and workflow automation experience.
• You must have programming experience in C or Python.
• You have worked with Python, pandas, Airflow, dbt, Snowpark, Snowflake Streams and Tasks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks and ADLS Gen2.
• You have used Power BI Premium, DAX, Power Query, Fabric, paginated reports and Power Automate API connectors.
• You have experience with enterprise application integration, data quality, ETL and monitoring.
• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
• Preferred: Snowflake SnowPro Core or Advanced, or Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification.
• Preferred: experience with scikit-learn, dbt transformations and Azure DevSecOps.
