Description

The company is hiring a Solutions Architect to create new, distinctive, and workable technical solutions for U.S. Government opportunities.

The work blends enterprise architecture, technical leadership, federal acquisition knowledge, solution building, technical writing, cost awareness, and an understanding of customer missions.

Responsibilities

  • Help lead or support technical solution work across the capture lifecycle.
  • Review RFIs, draft RFPs, PWS, SOW, and SOO documents, evaluation criteria, incumbent environments, customer pain points, acquisition strategies, and competitor intelligence to pinpoint solution needs and differentiators.
  • Design end-to-end architectures that bring together enterprise IT, cloud, network modernization, cybersecurity and Zero Trust, ITSM, DevSecOps, data and AI, automation, observability, infrastructure, applications, and end-user services, as each opportunity requires.
  • Turn Government requirements into solution parts, capabilities, work packages, staffing needs, technologies, processes, deliverables, dependencies, and measurable outcomes, and keep each requirement traceable to the proposed solution.
  • Write or contribute to technical volumes, management approaches, solution descriptions, CONOPS, architecture diagrams, graphics, workflows, transition plans, staffing concepts, assumptions, risks, and proposal responses.
  • Coordinate SMEs and functional leads so the solution components work together as one enterprise solution rather than separate technical approaches.
  • Find the technical strengths, innovations, proof points, and customer benefits that set the solution apart, while staying compliant with solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • Assess COTS, GOTS, open-source, cloud, OEM, and partner technologies and decide the role each plays in the solution. Join technical discussions with subcontractors and technology partners.
  • Support solution reviews, Black Hat sessions, solutioning sessions, Pink, Red, and Gold Team reviews, technical interchange meetings, executive reviews, oral proposal preparation, and customer presentations.

Requirements

  • You hold an active Top Secret clearance and can obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly.
  • You have 10+ years of solution development or related work as a solution architect for a federal government contractor.
  • You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • You have developed and led the solutioning of winning proposals for new and re-compete pursuits, capture work, and proposal efforts starting at $100M TCV.
  • You know current federal technologies well, including cloud, data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, robotic process automation, and software development methods from Agile to Waterfall and hybrids of both.
  • You have worked front-end with clients, turning SOW, SOO, PWS, and draft material into needs, finding pain points and key client priorities, and building strong relationships.
  • You have written or helped write the technical or management volume of large federal proposals, and ideally led it as a solution architect. You use a Shipley-type proposal approach.
  • You have worked in cross-functional teams.
  • bonus: demonstrated FedSim experience

Conditions

Full-time, regular position.

Travel of up to 25%, local.

Proposed salary range: $131,800 - $290,000.

Final pay depends on factors such as location, federal contract labor categories and wage rates, prior experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The company supports flexibility so employees can balance quality work with their personal lives.

Benefits

  • Healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education, and time off benefits.
  • Flexible time off.
  • Access to learning resources.
