Technical Presales Consultant (m/f/d) Data & AI / Automation – IBM Software (80–100%)

Its IBM Software business unit supports partners in Data and AI, Automation, Integration and Hybrid Cloud, turning technology into real value for customers.

Responsibilities

• Give partners and internal sales teams technical support on IBM Data and AI and Automation solutions.
• Help shape solution designs for data platforms, AI use cases and automation scenarios.
• Help prepare technical presentations, product demos, workshops and proofs of concept.
• Work on proposals and RFP responses from the technical side.
• Take part in partner enablement and training sessions.
• Build deeper IBM expertise over time through hands-on work and certifications.

Requirements

• A technical background in Data, AI, Automation, Integration or a similar field.
• Some experience in technical consulting, engineering or presales is an advantage.
• Interest in customer-facing work and solution design.
• Experience with IBM Software is welcome but not required.
• Exposure to Hybrid Cloud, containers or OpenShift is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• You speak German and English fluently.
