Cybersecurity IAM & Zero Trust Architect

Description

The company is a global technology distributor and is building out its identity and access security strategy. The role covers identity and access management (IAM) and the move toward Zero Trust across cloud, infrastructure, applications and emerging technologies.

You will work with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud and business teams worldwide so that users, systems and applications get the access they need, with access that is secure, smooth and properly governed.

Responsibilities

• Set the global IAM and Zero Trust architecture, standards and roadmap, and keep them current.
• Design and build access solutions such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), passwordless sign-in and privileged access management.
• Lead the rollout of Zero Trust, based on continuous verification, least-privilege access and identity-based controls.
• Run identity governance work: user lifecycle, access certifications, role management and automated provisioning.
• Work with technical and business stakeholders to build identity-first security into cloud, applications and infrastructure.
• Identify access-related risks and plan how to reduce them.
• Advise on IAM, Zero Trust and identity security best practice, including technical leadership.
• Support M&A deals and integration projects from the identity and access side.

Requirements

• Solid background in cybersecurity, focused on IAM, Zero Trust or security architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SSO, MFA and identity governance tools.
• Good working knowledge of SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect authentication and authorization.
• Experience securing cloud platforms, especially Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of privileged access management (PAM) and current identity security concepts.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in an international setting.
• Certifications such as CISSP, SC-300 or an equivalent are a plus.
