Software Engineer, Integrations

Description

The company is an AI-powered communications platform used by more than 24,000 businesses worldwide, with over 600 people in offices across Paris, London, Madrid, Berlin, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Sydney and Mexico City.

The platform combines voice, SMS, WhatsApp and over 250 integrations in one workspace, and includes AI voice agents that handle routine interactions while staff take on the conversations that matter most.

The team builds services on top of voice, using NodeJS and TypeScript on AWS, and connects them to customers' business-critical tools such as CRM, helpdesk and e-commerce systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy and operate features that deliver direct value to customers, owning them in production with autonomy and high reliability.
• Work with product managers, designers and other engineers to deliver practical solutions to real problems, taking them from start to finish.
• Help build secure, maintainable, high-quality services by taking part in technical design and architecture discussions.
• Learn the business domain well enough to propose solutions that have a real impact on users and clients.
• Review colleagues' code and share knowledge and constructive feedback with the team.
• Keep up with modern software practices, tools and architectures, and adopt the ones that fit.

Requirements

• Three to five years of professional software development experience.
• Solid hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js, or another back-end language such as Python, Ruby or Rails, writing secure, maintainable and performant code.
• Practical experience running services on AWS in production, including building, deploying and monitoring them in cloud architectures.
• Ability to turn requirements into clean technical designs and pragmatic solutions.
• Clear, proactive communication, and comfort working across roles and distributed engineering teams.
• Care for simple code, clean testing, performance and long-term maintainability.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt quickly, since you do not need to know the full stack or every functional area in advance.
• Experience with frontend applications, preferably React, is a big plus.

Conditions

The stack includes TypeScript and Node.js, Python, REST and GraphQL APIs, Ruby on Rails, React, AWS with Serverless or EKS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch and Redis.
