Description

The company is a unicorn-stage AI communications platform, over a decade old, that helps teams win with their customers.

It combines voice, SMS, WhatsApp and 250+ integrations in one workspace. AI Voice Agents take routine interactions so staff can focus on the conversations that matter. More than 24,000 businesses use it worldwide.

The company has 600+ people from 40+ nationalities across Paris, London, Madrid, Berlin, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Sydney and Mexico City. The team values fast decisions and work with visible impact.

The role is to turn a trusted telco brand into a recognized AI voice product, starting in the Americas, the company's largest and most competitive region. The product is ready, with Voice Agents and Messaging Agents as its agentic offering. The next step is getting customers, prospects and partners to see the company as an AI voice platform, not only a phone system.

The company operates in a regulated space and is moving away from inbound paid search toward AI transformation. This is not an events coordinator role. The company wants a commercially minded marketer who works as a true partner to Sales, builds programs around revenue, and makes a national brand feel local.

This is a mini-CMO seat for the US, Canada and LATAM. You will own the plan, budget and results across the three markets, and you will be part of the revenue team. You will report to the General Manager of the Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Own the regional field marketing strategy for the US, Canada and LATAM. Set the plan with clear targets for pipeline, brand awareness and AI product adoption.
  • Design programs for Channel Partnerships, prospects and existing customers in mid-market and small business across several industry verticals. Tie each one to pipeline, retention or expansion.
  • Build the events strategy, from flagship and regional events to executive experiences and partner-led activations.
  • Create a customer story program that turns real customer results into proof points for Sales, Partnerships and events in each market.
  • Shift the brand from a trusted telco to a recognized AI voice product through local activations, partner programs and community presence. Take Voice Agents and Messaging Agents to market with regional messaging that resonates with local buyers.
  • Work with Sales on an account-based approach for priority accounts and the existing base. Design programs, including executive experiences, that drive new business and AI expansion.
  • Align the go-to-market team behind the plan with regional Sales leaders, Sales Development, Account Management and Partnerships. Make sure every program ties to pipeline and revenue. Give Sales and Sales Development the follow-up, enablement and meeting support that turns event attendance into pipeline.
  • Work with Performance Marketing to track MQL trends as the mix moves away from paid search. Work with the Creative Director and content creators to produce assets that suit each market.
  • Manage and develop two direct reports. Set their priorities and goals, and coach them on strategy and execution.
  • Own the field marketing budget across all three markets. Decide where investment returns the most pipeline, report on spend and results, and select and manage the agencies, vendors and venues that deliver events, holding them to budget and quality.
  • Set measurable goals, track ROI, sourced and influenced pipeline, program performance and brand momentum. Present clear results to the GM, Marketing leaders, and Sales and executive leadership.
  • Work with Product Marketing, Demand Generation and Brand to adapt global campaigns to each market, and feed regional insight back into global strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in B2B marketing, with substantial time in field, regional or account-based marketing at a SaaS company.
  • A record of owning a regional plan and a meaningful budget, covering allocation, vendor spend and ROI, and of tying programs to sourced and influenced pipeline.
  • Experience managing and developing a team, and leading through cross-functional partners in performance marketing, creative and content.
  • Experience marketing across several regions, ideally including LATAM.
  • Experience marketing to channel partners, prospects and existing customers, ideally in mid-market and small business across several verticals.
  • Experience building customer story programs that support pipeline and brand.
  • Experience building a strategy and then executing it hands-on, from plan through live programs such as events, executive dinners, roadshows and partner programs.
  • A data-driven approach to goals and ROI, combined with the creativity to make local programs memorable.
  • Strong partnership with Sales, including working with regional sales leaders and holding programs to revenue outcomes.
  • Experience marketing a technical or communications product.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to turn results into a clear narrative for senior leaders.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity in an evolving organization.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for AI products, with conviction in the story and not only the willingness to tell it.
  • Openness to learning from global counterparts and sharing what works regionally.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and a marketing automation platform such as HubSpot or Marketo.
  • Willingness to travel across the US, Canada and LATAM and to key events, roughly 20-30% of the time.
  • A plus: Spanish or Portuguese.
  • A plus: a background in AI, voice, CCaaS or telco.
  • A plus: experience in high-growth, VC- or PE-backed environments.
