Software Engineer - Block Storage UK

Description

This is a software engineering role in Bristol, UK, within the global R+D organisation of a large edge-to-cloud technology company. The team builds next-generation software products, including cutting-edge storage technology.

The role is hybrid: you will be expected to work from an office on average 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, program and integrate next-generation products.
• Make a visible difference to the products you work on.

Requirements

• Experience with one or more of Java, C, C++, Python or Go.
• Understanding of software development processes and practices.
• Willingness to learn current AI tools and apply them to improve the development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity and a drive to keep learning.
• Ability to work alone, within a local team and within a global development community.
• Experience with Linux systems is an advantage.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent field.
• Suitable for new graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience.

Conditions
