Software Development Intern

Description

The company is hiring a software development intern for its engineering team. You will gain practical experience by working with experienced developers on live projects.

Responsibilities

• Help build, test and debug software applications.
• Work with teammates on coding projects and on adding new features.
• Take part in code reviews and add your views to technical discussions.
• Help upkeep and improve existing codebases.
• Write documentation for code and development processes.
• Assist with quality assurance testing.
• Join team meetings and offer your ideas.

Requirements

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
• You have a basic working knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript or C. C is preferable.
• You understand core programming concepts and data structures.
• You understand object-oriented programming principles.
• You have experience with version control systems. Git is preferred.
• You have some firmware or embedded programming experience with microcontrollers in C or C++, or you are familiar with microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• You know the basics of Agile and Scrum development methods.
• You have completed a project, whether academic, personal or professional.
• You bring strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good communication and a willingness to work in a team.
• You are eager to learn new technologies and ideas.
