Software Developer (.NET/Angular)

Description

The company is hiring a senior full-stack developer with strong Angular and C skills for a full-time, regular position in its Information Technology category.

The ideal hire has a record of building sturdy, scalable web applications that perform well.

The team works on customer missions tied to national safety.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain intricate web applications using Angular, Node.js and other suitable tools.
• Work with teams from different disciplines to scope, design and release new features.
• Keep applications fast, high quality and responsive.
• Find performance bottlenecks and their causes, then fix them along with bugs.
• Support code quality, tidy project structure and automation.
• Coach and guide junior developers on the team.
• Track new technologies and shifts in the industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field.
• At least 5 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Hands-on work with Angular version 8 or newer, and TypeScript.
• Experience developing in.NET (C).
• Working knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
• Front-end skills in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Solid grasp of back-end work and databases such as MySQL or MongoDB.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Strong problem-solving ability and careful attention to detail.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work alone as well as within a group.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Desired: experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Desired: knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Desired: experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Desired: familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Plus: familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Conditions

Full-time role requiring a Secret security clearance at minimum to start.

Up to 10% travel within the continental US.

Salary depends on factors such as location, federal government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant experience, skills, education and certifications.

The proposed salary range is $82,700 - 173,900 USD.
