Software Configuration Analyst (SCM) - Level 4

Description

The company's Space Systems group, covering multi-domain operations and missile defense integration, is hiring a Sr. Principal Software Configuration Management Analyst at Level 4.

You will work on site in Colorado Springs, CO, Boulder, CO, or Huntsville, AL.

The role sets up and maintains software configuration management processes on programs of all sizes, following the organization's OSSP and contract terms.

The team is diverse, and the work sits at the edge of current industry developments.

Responsibilities

• Build configured releases for testing and delivery.
• Manage and run the SCM tools.
• Facilitate control board meetings as the scribe, and produce build and delivery documentation.
• Define and roll out procedures that govern changes to program data and products.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an accredited university plus 8 years of related experience, a master's in STEM plus 6 years, or a PhD plus 4 years.
• Bring prior software configuration management experience.
• Have built configured releases for test and delivery.
• Know the principles and concepts of SCM, plus current industry practices and standards.
• Have worked across multiple tools and environments, such as Git, Bitbucket, Jira, ClearCase, ClearQuest, Linux and Windows.
• Be able to travel up to 10% of the time to meet business needs.
• Hold an active, in-scope U.S. Government-issued Secret clearance when you apply, and have it in place to start.
• Preferred: experience putting SCM in place on a large-scale program.
• Preferred: experience configuring and running DevOps tools such as Jenkins and GitLab Pipelines/Runners to streamline CI/CD.
• Preferred: scripting skills in Bash, Python or PowerShell.
• Preferred: an active, in-scope U.S. Government-issued Secret clearance or higher.

Conditions

On-site work in Colorado Springs, CO, Boulder, CO, or Huntsville, AL.

Travel is up to 10% of the time.

A Secret clearance is required to start, and relocation assistance may be available.

Base pay: Colorado Springs $117,500.00 - $176,300.00; Boulder $129,300.00 - $193,900.00; Huntsville $123,400.00 - $185,000.00.

Primary level range across locations: $117,500.00 - $193,900.00.

The range is a guideline. Final offers depend on scope and responsibilities, experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
