ServiceNow Sr. Business Analyst (Now Assist)

Description

The company is a technology firm within the global Accenture organization and works only with the US federal government. Its more than 13,000 people support agencies in defense, national security, public safety, civilian work and military health.

This is a senior business analyst role focused on ServiceNow work for the Hadlock contract. You will use current process improvement methods to shape requirements, streamline processes and drive user adoption alongside functional and technical colleagues.

You will take on growing ownership of requirements definition, stakeholder engagement and solution validation in Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Run requirements sessions with stakeholders to capture business needs and process requirements.
• Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria for Agile sprints.
• Produce process documents such as flows, use cases and functional specifications.
• Compare current processes with target future capabilities to identify gaps.
• Lead workshops and working sessions with business users and technical staff.
• Understand requirements in depth, then use best practice and detailed ServiceNow knowledge to design solutions that support processes and meet or exceed functional needs.
• Support user acceptance testing by writing test cases, coordinating execution and validating defects.
• Record business rules, workflow logic and configuration needs for technical build.
• Work with ServiceNow developers so requirements are translated accurately into solutions.
• Take part in sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives.
• Run solution demonstrations and validation sessions with stakeholders.
• Maintain requirements traceability matrices that follow each requirement through implementation.
• Support change management, including training materials and user communications.

Requirements

• Four years of business analysis experience, with hands-on ServiceNow requirements definition and process analysis.
• Preferred: federal experience.
• Preferred: ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow CSA, CBAP, PMI PBA or other business analysis certifications.

Conditions

Based in the Northern Virginia area, with onsite presence at the contractor facility 4 to 5 days per week.

An active TS/SCI clearance is required, and you must be willing to obtain a polygraph.

The base pay range for roles in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and the District of Columbia is $86,400 - $176,200 USD.

Actual pay depends on office location, role, skill set and experience.
