Description

The company develops next-generation space stations and space infrastructure with an incremental, hardware-heavy, low-cost approach.

Its multi-module station is being built to keep people continuously present in space for the US and its allies, supporting microgravity research and manufacturing and opening a new space economy for government, corporate, and private customers.

In 2025 the company's demonstration mission made it the only operational commercial space station company to fly and operate its own spacecraft.

The first commercial station is expected to launch in 2027, with more modules to follow, and the company recently announced a high-power satellite line built on station components and the demonstration mission's heritage.

The company is based in Long Beach, California, has more than 1,000 employees and over a billion dollars in private capital, and plans habitats for the Moon and Mars, stations for government partners, and other crewed systems.

This role is a Senior Technical Recruiter reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, and is the dedicated recruiter for the satellite program, hiring across thermal, avionics, power, propulsion, GNC, flight software, and manufacturing.

  • Manage candidate pipelines and run an efficient, engaging interview process
  • Lead interview debriefs and help hiring teams evaluate candidates and reach decisions
  • Lead offer conversations and close candidates while keeping the candidate experience strong
  • Track recruiting metrics, pass-through rates, and pipeline health, and report progress against hiring goals to leadership
  • Keep recruiting processes consistent and documented in the ATS
  • Explain the company's mission and value proposition to candidates at every stage

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting, including hardware or aerospace engineering roles
  • Strong domain knowledge in at least one of: thermal, avionics, power, propulsion, GNC, flight software, or manufacturing
  • Exposure to the other disciplines, or a proven ability to get up to speed quickly in new technical areas
  • Experience running several searches at once in a fast-paced setting with limited support
  • Strong business sense and executive presence, with experience advising senior leaders
  • Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates
  • Preferred: recruiting experience across several of these areas: avionics, electrical engineering, thermal controls, power systems, propulsion, GNC, software, and structures
  • Preferred: manufacturing and production engineering
  • Preferred: hardware engineering roles, including mechanical, electrical, design, and structural
