Description

The company builds space stations and related infrastructure using an incremental, hardware-focused approach that keeps costs low.

Its multi-module station is being developed to keep people working in orbit for America and its allies, supporting microgravity research, manufacturing, and a wider space economy for government, business, and private customers.

A 2025 test mission made the company the only commercial space station company to fly and operate its own spacecraft. Its first station is expected to be the world's first commercial space station when it launches in 2027, with more modules to follow. The company has also introduced a high-power satellite line built on its station components and the lessons of that mission.

The company is based in Long Beach, California, has more than 1,000 employees and over $1 billion in private capital, and has built the facilities needed for America's next station. Future plans include habitats and systems for the Moon and Mars, stations for government partners, and other crewed systems.

This role provides day-to-day technical support to the company's internal staff and keeps systems running smoothly.
