Description

The company builds next-generation space stations and related infrastructure using an incremental, hardware-heavy, low-cost method.

Its multi-module station is being built to keep people in orbit on a continuous basis for America and its allies, supporting microgravity research and manufacturing and opening a space economy for government, business and private customers.

Its 2025 demonstration mission made it the only commercial space station company so far to have flown and operated its own spacecraft. Its first station is expected to launch in 2027 as the world's first commercial one, with more modules to follow.

The company has also recently announced a high-power satellite line built on its station components and the heritage of its demonstration mission.

Based in Long Beach, California, the company has more than 1,000 employees and over a billion dollars in private capital. It has built the facilities needed to make and run America's next station and plans future habitats and systems for the Moon and Mars, stations for government partners, and other crewed systems.
