This is a Senior Staff Program Manager role focused on New Product Introduction (NPI). The role leads a portfolio of complex, cross-functional initiatives covering NPI, process transformation, go-to-market execution and organizational rollouts. It is a senior individual contributor position that works across teams and reports into the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) stakeholder group, turning strategy into scoped, owned and delivered outcomes at company scale.
Responsibilities
Break business initiatives such as process changes, go-to-market work and product rollouts into workstreams, deliverables and owners with little direction.
Run several large, high-complexity programs at once, setting priorities and sequence across them with minimal oversight.
Build and maintain business-facing master schedules covering readiness reviews, enablement windows, go-live dates, retrospectives and critical deadlines for multi-phase rollouts.
Run steering committees, change-management syncs, readiness checkpoints and retrospectives, and keep owned programs on track.
Set regular meeting cadences with clear ownership and follow-up.
Spot program and portfolio risks early and resolve them yourself before they need executive or ELT escalation.
Map dependencies across teams and clear hand-offs and approvals on your own, including those that cut across concurrent programs.
Remove execution blockers across workstreams and the wider portfolio.
Raise business, operational and change-adoption risks, work with functional and executive leaders on mitigation, and own the business risk narrative.
Engage directly and often with ELT members and lead decision forums focused on business outcomes.
Give concise, ELT-ready updates that cover risks, asks and decisions, and present with confidence to Director, VP and ELT leaders.
Act as a trusted advisor to executives, helping shape how strategic decisions are made rather than only reporting status.
Lead business process and design reviews, working trade-offs through to a workable consensus across concurrent initiatives.
Define and track program health KPIs such as adoption, satisfaction and cost savings across the portfolio.
Improve change management, governance and intake/prioritization processes with functional teams and senior leadership.
Improve visibility and predictability across all assigned programs.
Lead retrospectives, document lessons learned, and contribute templates and playbooks to the Program Management practice. Mentor Program and Staff Program Managers.
Maintain roadmaps with timelines, RACI charts, RAID logs, decision logs and executive updates for every owned program.
Help set program management standards and operating rhythms across the organization.
Learn customer needs and market expectations so program outcomes serve the customer experience, not just internal delivery.
Link individual programs to company strategy and OKRs, and shape portfolio scope around stated business priorities.
Use budget management, ROI and cost-benefit analysis, and commercial impact to guide program and portfolio decisions, and explain that impact to ELT leaders.
Requirements
10+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs in a business, GTM or NPI setting, including several large programs at once with minimal oversight.
A record of working independently at Staff or Senior Staff level and engaging regularly with ELT stakeholders.
Experience building and managing master schedules, RAID logs, RACI matrices and executive-level program artifacts across a portfolio.
Working knowledge of core program and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence and the MS suite.
Experience running steering committees and decision forums with Director, VP and ELT leaders, acting as a trusted advisor rather than a status reporter.
Strong executive communication and storytelling skills, able to turn complex, concurrent programs into clear risks, asks and decisions for senior audiences.
Financial acumen, including budget management and ROI or cost-benefit analysis at portfolio level.
A strong habit of spotting risk early and solving problems independently, with good judgment on when to escalate and when not to.
Experience developing best practices and mentoring program managers on standards, templates and playbooks.
Fluency in business processes, program and project management best practices, and functional tools, so you can plan realistically and work credibly with stakeholders at every level.
