The company is a fast-growing tech startup in Winnipeg, Canada, using AI to make business TV more engaging, profitable and easier to run, starting with bars and restaurants.
Its proprietary system uses computer vision to watch live TV and show contextually aware commercials, content and games.
The system also takes over the routine AV work venues handle each day, making bar operations simpler, more consistent and more profitable.
Alumni of the program include Airbnb, Instacart and DoorDash.
The team is small, so people cover several areas. The company builds hardware, firmware, web, Android and machine learning, with your work centred on Android, web and backend.
The company builds its own TV box, which runs a computer vision detection algorithm based on heuristics. It says it is the first company able to detect TV commercials accurately. Thousands of boxes are deployed across more than 5,000 venues, with more installed daily.
Several React web apps serve customers and internal operations.
