Description

The role sits in the Consumer Experience Engineering group, which builds fast, intuitive, accessible and premium web and mobile experiences for consumers.

The group runs the web and mobile platforms, shared design systems, performance and accessibility work, and AI-native engineering practices used by product teams worldwide.

You will work with product owners, designers, quality engineers and engineering leads to ship scalable, fast, user-focused mobile apps on iOS and Android.

The company is a global sports brand making footwear, apparel and accessories, with operations in 120+ countries and around 22,000 employees.

Hiring decisions are made only by people. AI may support isolated tasks such as scheduling interviews, but it has no influence on decisions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on mobile apps.
  • Strong hands-on skills in React Native and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Solid grasp of iOS and Android basics, app lifecycle and platform capabilities.
  • Experience shipping and maintaining consumer mobile apps in production.
  • Strong knowledge of React, component-based architecture and reusable UI.

  • Hands-on work integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL into mobile apps.
  • Experience with mobile testing, debugging, troubleshooting and quality engineering.
  • Strong understanding of mobile performance, crash analysis and monitoring.
  • Experience with Git, code reviews and collaborative workflows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD basics and mobile release processes.
  • Experience in Agile delivery using tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar.
  • Understanding of mobile UX, accessibility standards, responsive design, design systems, component libraries and device compatibility.
