The team is hiring a Senior Software Architect to shape secure, scalable and resilient technical solutions for a multi-tenant, multi-region platform covering enterprise applications, platform services, data, integrations and AI.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will turn complex business and product needs into practical, reusable designs, working with Engineering, Product, Platform, Data, AI and customer-facing teams so solutions meet near-term needs and long-term strategy.

You will steer technical direction across teams, make key architecture decisions, and help build a modern, scalable, increasingly AI-enabled platform.

Success in this role means reusable architecture patterns across products, better alignment between Engineering, Product, Platform, Data and AI, less duplicated work and fewer one-off customer builds, faster delivery of complex enterprise solutions, stronger reliability, security, performance and maintainability, and AI adopted where it delivers measurable value.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions across products, platform services, integrations, data systems and AI, turning complex business and customer needs into scalable architectures and implementation roadmaps.
• Set reusable patterns for APIs, event-driven systems and cloud-native services to cut duplicate work and customer-specific builds.
• Weigh scalability, performance, security, reliability, cost and time to market when choosing designs.
• Reduce technical debt, simplify systems, and improve maintainability and scalability.
• Work alongside engineering teams on the design and build of complex solutions.
• Push consistent engineering standards, reusable components and clear architecture documentation.
• Design architectures that connect applications, enterprise systems, data platforms and third-party services.
• With Data Engineering, support data integration, master data management, data quality, governance and real-time data flows.
• Find places to add AI, generative AI and intelligent automation to products and enterprise workflows.
• Assess AI and agentic solutions on business value, security, reliability, performance and running cost.
• Set patterns for data access, API integration, workflow orchestration, observability and secure AI adoption.
• Align architecture with priorities across Engineering, Product, Platform, Data, AI, Security and Professional Services.
• Lead architecture and design reviews for high-impact work and cross-product dependencies.
• Produce reference architectures, technical specifications and architecture decision records.
• Mentor engineers and technical leads, influencing through technical depth and judgment rather than formal authority.
• Champion practical architecture that speeds up engineering without weakening quality, security or reliability.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering, system design and software architecture.
• Track record of delivering complex, enterprise-scale software.
• Solid grasp of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven design and cloud-native technology.
• Background in enterprise integration, platform architecture and data-intensive applications.
• Strong cloud architecture skills, preferably on AWS.
• Experience designing multi-tenant SaaS, including tenant isolation and multi-region deployment.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms, data governance and real-time data processing.
• Working knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents or AI-enabled application architecture.
• Strong grounding in security, identity and access management, privacy, scalability, reliability and observability.
• Able to turn business needs into practical designs and guide work from architecture through implementation.
• Clear communicator and collaborator, a strong problem solver, and a capable technical leader.
• Extra excited if you have:
• Experience in enterprise SaaS, healthcare, life sciences or another regulated industry.
• Experience with AWS services, event streaming such as Kafka, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience building reusable platform capabilities used across multiple products and customer environments.
• Experience shipping production AI and intelligent workflow automation.
