Description

The company is looking for a senior proposal solution architect with an active TS/SCI clearance to lead technical solution work on strategic DoD electronic warfare (EW), C5ISR and cyber opportunities.

You will manage solution development across the full lifecycle, from customer contact and opportunity shaping through proposal submission and handover to delivery. You will work with Business Development, Capture, Engineering and Proposal teams to build mission-focused solutions using the company's products, technologies and engineering skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own technical solution development for priority capture and proposal efforts in EW, C5ISR and cyber.
  • Turn customer requirements from PWS, SOO, CONOPS and similar documents into workable architectures, implementation plans, staffing approaches and persuasive proposal content.
  • Build solutions across EW, cyber, systems engineering, mission engineering, platform integration, C5ISR and related areas that set the company apart from competitors.
  • Lead cross-functional teams that include Business Development, Capture, Engineering, Proposal, Pricing and Product Management.
  • Assess technologies, run trade studies and define technical discriminators that strengthen competitive position.
  • Support both classified and unclassified proposals while keeping technical quality, compliance and consistency high.
  • Present the company's EW, C5ISR and cyber capabilities in customer meetings, technical briefings, white papers, demonstrations and strategy sessions.
  • Coach other Solution Architects and take part in proposal reviews and technical solution assessments.

Requirements

  • Hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bring 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, systems engineering or technical leadership on DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
  • Have a record of leading technical solutions and writing or leading technical volumes for large federal capture and proposal efforts. $50M+ TCV is preferred.
  • Understand EW, C5ISR and cyber capabilities, including how they integrate, and have built solutions that use them.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, systems engineering or a related technical field.
  • Turn customer needs into strong technical solutions and proposal content.
  • Communicate clearly, lead teams and engage customers well.
  • Living near the northern Virginia offices (Sterling, Chantilly, Reston) or Maryland offices (Aberdeen Proving Ground, Annapolis Junction) and able to be onsite regularly is preferred.
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Army, USSOCOM, Air Force, Navy, DARPA, DIU or other defense organizations.
  • Knowledge of RF systems, EMSO, SIGINT, C-UxS or mission systems integration.
  • Familiarity with MBSE, Agile/DevSecOps, AI/ML and MOSA/SOSA (Modular Open Systems Architecture).
  • Experience with GSA FEDSIM/AAS or other large DoD acquisition organizations.
  • Hands-on proposal development on EW, C5ISR or cyber programs.

Conditions

Regular, full-time role with travel up to 25%, local.

Minimum clearance to start is TS/SCI.

Based mainly in northern Virginia, with regular onsite presence expected.

Proposed salary range is $114,600-$252,100, shown as the national average because the role can be worked from more than one location.

Pay depends on location, federal contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant experience, skills, education and certifications.

Benefits

  • Flexible time off so you can take the time you need.
  • Access to learning resources to support career growth.
  • Comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, family support, continuing education and time off.
