The company builds, makes and delivers HVDC solutions that help customers add renewable energy, reinforce grids and improve energy security around the world.

The HVDC service unit handles service commitments and extends the life of existing HVDC installations worldwide. It is now seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead some of its largest and most strategically important upgrade projects.

  • Build, lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams spanning functions and countries, and foster a strong culture of performance and collaboration.
  • Own the project's scope, schedule, financial results, resourcing and risk management across the full lifecycle.
  • Serve as the main contact for customers, suppliers and other stakeholders, and represent the customer's voice inside the company.
  • Lead contract negotiations, variation orders, claims and commercial discussions, working closely with Contract Management and Supply Chain Management.
  • Govern the project effectively by spotting opportunities, managing technical, commercial and operational risks, and promoting good health, safety and environmental practice.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or another relevant technical field.
  • Have extensive experience leading large, complex HVDC, substation, energy transmission or engineering projects on EP or EPC basis.
  • Have a proven record of delivering projects while answerable for budget, schedule, customer relationships and overall performance.
  • Show strong leadership, with experience managing multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Have a solid commercial grasp, with experience in contract and stakeholder management.
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English, which is mandatory. Experience in HVDC, power transmission or other complex energy infrastructure is highly valued. PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2 or an equivalent certification is considered an asset.
