Senior Technical Delivery Manager

The role leads large software and digital transformation initiatives, combining technical knowledge, Agile program leadership and stakeholder management to coordinate several cross-functional teams and keep delivery on time and at high quality. You will be the main link between business stakeholders, product, engineering, architecture and leadership, turning strategy into measurable results.

The ideal candidate has a solid software engineering background, Agile delivery experience, product execution skills and experience running enterprise-scale programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead several Agile teams and delivery streams at the same time.
• Own programs end to end, from planning through deployment and post-release support.
• Set roadmaps, milestones, timelines, dependencies and delivery plans.
• Spot, manage and reduce project risks and blockers before they slow work down.
• Produce executive-level reports, delivery metrics and status updates.
• Keep product, engineering, architecture, QA and business teams aligned.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and set priorities.
• Turn business goals into product and technical roadmaps.
• Run backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning and stakeholder reviews.
• Balance competing priorities and keep the focus on business results.
• Promote Agile best practices and ongoing process improvement.
• Work closely with engineers, architects and technical leads.
• Understand system architecture, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms and technical dependencies.
• Enforce SDLC best practices and modern software delivery frameworks.
• Take part in solution design discussions and guide technical decisions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups and release readiness reviews.
• Manage Jira workflows, dashboards, reporting and delivery metrics.
• Track team capacity, velocity, dependencies and delivery health.
• Use data to improve predictability, efficiency and delivery performance.
• Use AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Jira AI, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or similar to support planning, documentation, reporting and team productivity.
• Find ways to streamline delivery through automation and AI-assisted workflows.
• Drive adoption of new practices that raise delivery quality and speed.

Requirements

• 10+ years in Technical Program Management, Technical Delivery Management, Product Management or related leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SDLC and enterprise software delivery.
• Proven record managing large, complex technology programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced settings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated success delivering software products and enterprise technology solutions.
• Preferred: experience in Telecommunications, Wireless, Enterprise Technology or Digital Transformation environments.
• Preferred: experience leading distributed onshore and offshore teams.
• Preferred: familiarity with Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Preferred: experience with APIs, microservices, system integrations and modern architecture patterns.
• Preferred: PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, Product Owner or related certification.

Conditions

Full-time role based in Bellevue, USA, at 13555 SE 36th Street, on a hybrid work model.

Base salary is $92,250 to $140,000, plus incentives tied to individual and company performance. Actual pay varies by work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience and competencies.

Role requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, telephone or headset and other office equipment. Work is mostly sedentary.
