Senior Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team in agile delivery, including coaching new members.
• Own a product area from concept through delivery, working with little supervision.
• Define product requirements and confirm each feature improves user experience or operations in measurable terms.
• Write and maintain detailed documentation, with acceptance criteria traced across requirements and delivery.
• Set up and manage the product backlog and its priorities.
• Shape the roadmap with data and user insight, and review results after release.
• Work with engineering, design and compliance to release in small, safe increments.
• Serve as the main client contact for product matters and build lasting relationships with clients.
• Resolve issues and solve problems in the product area on your own initiative.
• Lead people by building a team that values accountability, growth and strong performance.

Requirements

• Solid experience with agile software delivery, including managing a backlog and owning documentation.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence or similar tools for tracking requirements and progress.
• Ability to apply data and user insight to roadmap decisions and assess outcomes after release.
• Experience in client relationships, people leadership and creative problem solving to drive collaboration and measurable results.

Conditions

US citizenship is required.

You must be able to obtain and keep a government security clearance.

Pay ranges apply in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and the District of Columbia, as local law requires.

The base pay range in those locations is $139,300 - $269,000 USD.

Actual pay depends on location, role, skill set and experience.
