Description

The Analytics and Performance Analytics (APEX) function supports the US organization of the company. The group includes researchers, analysts, data scientists and strategists, and it acts as in-house advisor so that decisions draw on the insights it develops.

This role owns the roadmap, requirements and releases for one defined CRM product within the Field Tools portfolio. As the US subject matter expert, you support field users and turn commercial needs into product solutions.

You take full ownership of a key platform or tool in the Field Tools portfolio. You shape its direction, run delivery through agile ceremonies, and make sure field user needs are heard and acted on. You work across IT, vendor partners, commercial stakeholders and field teams to keep the product healthy, adopted and improving. The role directly helps commercial teams work more effectively.

The company is a biopharmaceutical company whose mission is to discover and deliver innovative medicines. Its therapeutic areas include immunology, oncology and neuroscience, along with the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary product owner for an assigned CRM product, refining it with IT, vendor partners and commercial stakeholders so it fits the company's business strategy.
  • Own the roadmap for your functional area, overseeing enhancements and features within the CRM program build cycle and keeping them aligned with business objectives.
  • Turn US commercial needs into deliverables: write detailed requirements and user stories, manage the backlog, and set priorities so the most valuable features ship first.
  • Speak for field users in product development and enhancement discussions, keeping the commercial workforce's needs central to decisions.
  • Work with field users, commercial leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to find pain points, gather requirements and turn them into improvements with measurable value.
  • Track and report on tool health, roadmap, likely adoption metrics and issue trends. Spot systemic problems early and escalate them to the Director level with data-backed recommendations.
  • Keep a deep working knowledge of the tool's data flows, configuration and integration dependencies to support troubleshooting, enhancement scoping and stakeholder communication.
  • Lead change management and adoption, giving field teams the knowledge, training and support they need to use the tools in their daily work.
  • Help the Field Tools team build a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and collaboration that supports the commercial mission.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience across field leadership, marketing and analytics.
  • Experience with AI-enabled CRM capabilities, data analytics and digital customer engagement is highly desirable.
  • Deep familiarity with CRM platforms, especially Salesforce and/or Veeva, and the wider commercial technology ecosystem.
  • Experience leading large organizational change, working in new ways, and building a positive, accountable and engaged team culture.
  • Knowledge of business operations in pharma, biotech and healthcare.
  • Solid grasp of the legal, analytical and compliance landscape in the industry, with the ability to judge risk in varied situations and design mitigation strategies.
  • Proven ability to build and drive an organizational strategy within a complex, matrixed internal and external environment.
  • Ability to lead without formal authority and drive execution across many functionally diverse stakeholders. Advanced coaching, training and mentoring skills for peers or others as assigned, helping them meet or exceed goals and reach their potential in their role.

The job is eligible for long-term incentive programs.

Pay, bonuses, commissions, incentives and benefits are not earned or owed until paid. The company may change them at its sole discretion, consistent with applicable law.

The company is an equal opportunity employer, including for veterans and people with disabilities. This role is open to US and Puerto Rico residents only.
