Description

The company runs operations for private fund managers (GPs), combining technology, data and fund administration in one platform.

It works with more than 2,300 GPs, has over $300B under administration and more than 700,000 LPs on the platform, and employs more than 1,000 people.

Founded in 2014 and led by its founder, the company has raised over $350M. It also runs a purpose-built AI platform that adds intelligence across its workflows.

Fund administration is one of the company's largest and fastest-growing areas, and winning there depends on product marketing working alongside Sales. This is a Senior Product Marketing Manager role that works with leadership on go-to-market strategy and owns the messaging, positioning and enablement that move fund administration deals forward.

Fund administration is a service, so the job means knowing the people who deliver it: the company's fund administration leaders and experts, where each is strongest, and the reference clients and how they differ by size, asset class and profile. Keeping that picture current as the team grows quickly is central to the role.

This role reports to the Head of Product Marketing and works closely with Sales leadership and Pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Set the go-to-market strategy, positioning and messaging for the fund administration business unit, with a distinct value proposition for each buyer: CFOs, fund controllers, Heads of Finance and Fund Operations, leaders in investor services, accounting, treasury, compliance and loan operations, and technical evaluators.
  • Show buyers how the service changes their team's daily work, and prepare Sales and Customer Success for informed conversations about it.
  • Build fund administration personas and industry playbooks covering roles, priorities, objections and content needs at each sales stage.
  • Keep a living map of the fund administration leaders and experts: who presents well, where each is strongest, and who to bring into a deal.
  • Continuously gather data to keep that map current as the team grows, so Sales always knows who to involve and when.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of reference clients by size, asset class and profile so sellers can match the right proof to each prospect.
  • Own every fund administration product and feature launch, from major announcements to quarterly releases, using repeatable frameworks.
  • Define launch readiness and lead the cross-functional plan so Sales, Customer Success and the market are prepared for each release.
  • After launch, pass adoption data and customer feedback to Product to guide what ships next.
  • Work with Sales leadership and top sellers to create collateral: executive briefs, ROI narratives, competitive battlecards, demo narratives and stakeholder decks for each buying stage.
  • Drive pipeline, upsell and cross-sell across the GP experience and fund administration suite, with a consistent release story for prospects and customers.
  • Act as the internal expert on fund administration deal dynamics and help shape messaging and strategy on high-stakes opportunities.
  • Run voice-of-customer research through customer interviews, win/loss analysis and Sales feedback to deepen understanding of personas and use cases across investor services, accounting, treasury, compliance and loan operations.
  • Build customer stories that prove the messaging with real results.
  • Own competitive intelligence for fund administration and share actionable insights with Sales, Growth Marketing and Product.
  • Use AI agents and tools as core infrastructure to research accounts, synthesize customer and competitive input, and speed up messaging and enablement assets.
  • Judge what AI produces, knowing where automation helps and where human insight is needed.

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years in or next to fund administration, at a fund administrator, on a fund CFO, controller or finance operations team, or at a company selling fund administration technology or services, and you understand how these teams work, who buys and what they care about.
  • You communicate clearly in writing and speaking, and can turn detailed market insight into clear, persuasive go-to-market materials.
  • You use LLMs, agents and AI automation tools to speed up your work measurably, and you know where human judgment is essential.
  • Experience in B2B product marketing or go-to-market strategy is advantageous but not required, with a focus on supporting Sales and shaping deal outcomes.
