About the Role

Are you a tech-savvy storyteller ready to lead the charge in Veeam’s data protection revolution? As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Veeam Data Platform, you’ll transform complex technology into compelling, benefits-driven content. Your expertise across virtualization, cloud, enterprise applications, databases, HCI, security, governance, storage, and beyond will allow you to forge deep connections with technical audiences and ICPs. Your responsibilities will include leading the Veeam Data Platform outreach strategy, supporting campaigns with engaging demos, videos, and webinars, and working closely with Product Management, Strategy and Marketing to develop messaging for cutting-edge features. Your content will simplify complex tech concepts into easy-to-understand, actionable benefits, helping Veeam stand out in a competitive landscape.

Be the definitive voice of Product Marketing, bridging the gap between tech and value for customers, partners, and sales teams. Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the product outreach, web and content strategy for Veeam Data Platform for customer acquisition and expansion.
  • Manage the lifecycle of all related assets, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Be the resource, comfortable with working in the product capable of explaining realizable benefits on in a customer digestible story
  • Collaborate with product management and product strategy team to understand the values and craft compelling content for the latest Veeam innovations.
  • Design and support campaigns using technical know-how to create interactive Storylane/dynamic demos, presenter-led demos, technical videos, and webinars.
  • Develop and execute launch assets for new technologies and support.
  • Simplify technical benefits to resonate with end-users and partners, captivating prospects and maintaining loyal customers.
  • Partner with the PMM team to refine Veeam’s market positioning, tapping into your knowledge of competitive landscapes and buyer personas.
  • Build and apply deep proficiency in Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP), buyer personas, and key use cases to sharpen messaging, targeting, and content strategy for a deeply technical product.

  • What You’ll Bring
  • 5-10 years in B2B software roles (technical sales, sales engineering, product marketing, or product management); backup, recovery, security, or monitoring experience preferred. Being Tech Savvy is necessary.
  • Strong business acumen, able to convey complex concepts as business value; experience with software, cloud, or aaS delivery is a plus.
  • Proficient in managing pipeline day-to-day, working closely with Campaigns, Marketing Operations, and Analytics teams, and identifying remediation when campaigns and sales flag signs of underperformance.
  • Skilled storyteller with the ability to communicate compelling technical visions, verbally and in writing, to drive business results.
  • Comfortable presenting product use cases to technical non-technical personas
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on setting and improving metrics, KPIs, and impact.
  • Innovative thinker who challenges norms, experiments with new ideas, and drives market and mindshare growth.
  • Proactive leader capable of managing multiple projects autonomously and building new initiatives in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative team player who fosters alignment and executes on shared goals.
  • Customer-focused, prioritizing the entire customer journey.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or related field
  • Comfortable in a remote, global team environment; willing to travel up to 15%.

Conditions

Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.

$211,440 - $392,760 USD

Zone 2: Washington, California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area)

$193,820 - $360,030 USD

Zone 3: Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, Colorado, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii, New York (excluding NYC boroughs); Sales roles located in Georgia, Ohio, and Arizona

$176,200 - $327,300 USD

Zone 4: All other US locations
