Description

The company runs a data and technology platform that turns raw data into decision-ready insights for operations teams in agriculture, energy and weather-sensitive industries. It has more than 1,200 employees worldwide and has been in business for decades.

The company is growing and widening its international reach. Its solutions use AI and draw on long experience in these sectors to help large enterprises act under operational pressure and find new opportunities.

This is a senior product manager role for the platform's developer ecosystem and marketplace. The role sets the direction for how customers, developers and partners build on the platform and how platform features and partner offerings reach the market.

The best fit combines product strategy, hands-on technical knowledge and sound commercial judgment. You will work with Engineering, Data, Sales, Partnerships and executive leadership to make the developer experience smooth, grow the marketplace and find new ways to drive platform adoption and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Set the product strategy and roadmap for the developer ecosystem and marketplace, keeping priorities tied to customer needs and business goals.
  • Own the developer experience across APIs, SDKs, developer tools and documentation, and define metrics for developer adoption and success.
  • Build a marketplace where customers find the company and partner offerings, covering product discovery, subscriptions and quality standards.
  • Design partner programs for onboarding, certification and commercial terms, working with Business Development and Legal.
  • Shape packaging, pricing and monetization for platform capabilities so they match customer value and commercial opportunity.
  • Work with Sales and technical Pre-Sales to set clear positioning, strong value propositions and messaging customers can use.
  • Work with Product and Engineering leaders across the company so platform capabilities serve internal solutions as well as external developers and partners.
  • Find ways to make the platform easier to access, deepen partner engagement and raise customer value, driving ecosystem growth.
  • Weigh technical factors, partner economics and business priorities to make product decisions that support long-term platform growth.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning a platform product such as a developer platform, API product, marketplace or partner ecosystem.
  • A track record of building and growing a two-sided product or ecosystem.
  • Strong commercial skills, including pricing, packaging, partner economics and building business cases.
  • Technical fluency in APIs, cloud and data platforms and enterprise software architecture.
  • A solid grasp of data products, data sharing and data governance.
  • Experience working with Partnerships, Legal and Sales teams on commercial agreements.
  • The ability to turn complex technical capabilities into clear value for customers.
  • Strategic thinking, ownership and sound judgment, with the ability to decide well in ambiguous, fast-moving settings.
  • Nice to have: experience at an organization known for its developer platform or marketplace ecosystem.
  • Nice to have: experience with AI-enabled products or developer tools.
  • Nice to have: industry experience in agriculture, energy, commodities, logistics or weather.
  • Nice to have: experience with developer relations or community programs.
  • Nice to have: a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science or a related field.
  • Nice to have: an MBA or other advanced business degree.
