Getting claims paid accurately and on time keeps a home care agency running. Each clean claim depends on a chain of work: checking eligibility, tracking authorizations, verifying visits, applying codes correctly, and working denials before they expire. The software either keeps that chain intact or adds hours of manual effort.
The team is hiring a Product Manager to own the work across the revenue cycle and personal care capabilities of the company's home health platform. On the revenue cycle side, you will shape how agencies bill, submit claims, meet payer rules, handle denials, and collect across Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care. On the personal care side, you will work on caregiver scheduling, visit verification, authorizations, and the state and payer rules behind them.
You will take a capability from a loosely defined problem through discovery, delivery, launch, and the improvements that follow. You will work with Engineering, Architecture, Revenue Cycle Operations, Clinical, Analytics, User Experience, and business leaders who know the clients well. Automation and AI appear across claims scrubbing, eligibility, coding support, denial prediction, and document handling, and you will help decide where they are worth using.
The role suits someone who enjoys the details: why a payer rejects a claim, how an authorization gets used up, and what a scheduler is handling at 6 a.m. when three caregivers call out.
This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, Texas.
Responsibilities
Own the product from start to finish.
Manage revenue cycle and personal care capabilities through discovery, definition, delivery, launch, measurement, and next steps.
Spend time with billers, collectors, schedulers, and agency operators. Watch how they work and find where money and time are lost.
Turn those findings into product concepts, requirements, specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
Build the roadmap for your product areas with product leadership and cross-functional partners.
Turn strategy into delivery plans that balance user value, technical feasibility, payer and regulatory constraints, and business impact.
Set priorities based on evidence such as clean claim rates, days in accounts receivable, denial and rejection trends, schedule fill rates, user research, and candid stakeholder feedback.
Stay involved in analysis, design, testing, integration, launch readiness, and post-launch measurement.
Work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Security, DevOps, Analytics, and User Experience to define, build, and refine your capabilities.
Work directly with Revenue Cycle Operations and Client Success to learn where agencies struggle and what would improve their results.
Lead the cross-functional discussions that count: framing problems, agreeing on requirements, setting priorities, making tradeoff decisions, and confirming readiness to ship.
Explain technical and reimbursement topics clearly to non-technical audiences.
Raise dependencies, risks, and open decisions early, and bring in the right people when a decision goes beyond your team.
Keep people informed through product documentation, decision records, and dependable delivery timelines.
Apply your knowledge of post-acute reimbursement, payer requirements, claims workflows, and personal care operations to product decisions.
Track changes that affect the product, including CMS rules and rate updates, state Medicaid requirements, EVV mandates, managed care contract terms, and payer policy shifts, and plan the roadmap ahead of them.
Weigh technical and business tradeoffs with engineering partners, including where automation and AI add real value and where they add risk.
Design capabilities that meet healthcare regulatory, compliance, privacy, billing integrity, and data security standards from the outset.
Monitor performance, adoption, quality, and usability after launch, and push for improvements the data supports.
