Description

The company has spent decades supplying data-driven decision support to industries such as agriculture, energy and weather, often working behind the scenes. Its proprietary Operational Decisioning Platform converts raw data into insights that help businesses plan supply chains, keep markets stable and protect infrastructure from disruption.

The company is in a growth phase, building on its financial strength, profitability and industry trust while expanding internationally. Its AI-based products, shaped by years of sector experience, help large enterprises keep operating under constraints and find new opportunities.

This is a customer-focused, commercially minded Product Manager role supporting profitable growth in the Energy and Refined Fuels SaaS business. You will work with customers, Product, Engineering, Sales and Marketing to learn what the market needs, find opportunities, set product priorities and help modernize and grow the company's solutions. The ideal person has solid product management skills, makes decisions based on data, and turns customer and market insight into capabilities that create measurable value. You will help set product strategy, support customer modernization and migration work, and drive adoption, growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Build and update product strategies and roadmaps from customer needs, market research, competitor analysis and business goals, using a structured, data-led method.
  • Talk with customers directly to learn how they work, what slows them down and what results they want, including during modernization and migration programs.
  • Find and rank product opportunities by customer value, commercial potential and fit with strategy.
  • Set and rank product features and improvements, turning customer and market problems into clear goals for Engineering.
  • Work alongside Engineering from discovery through delivery so that solutions solve confirmed customer problems and produce measurable results.
  • Keep roadmaps current and explain priorities, decisions and trade-offs to internal and external audiences.
  • Define and monitor product metrics and KPIs for adoption, customer value and commercial results, and use them to guide later decisions.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing on positioning, go-to-market planning, launches and uptake of new and existing features.
  • Help develop and keep validating ideal customer profiles, market opportunities and customer segments.
  • Build working relationships with customers, users, partners and colleagues to gather input, test direction and support business aims.
  • Help shape product management practices, processes and ways of working across the Product organization.

Requirements

  • Product management experience, with a record of shipping products or capabilities that delivered measurable customer value.
  • Experience working well with Engineering, Sales, Marketing and other cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with SaaS products and an understanding of how customer insight, market trends and commercial factors shape product choices.
  • Experience taking part in product launches and go-to-market work.
  • Strong customer discovery skills, able to spot wider customer and market problems beyond single feature requests.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using qualitative and quantitative evidence to make decisions and weigh trade-offs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building productive relationships with customers and stakeholders across the company.
  • Working knowledge of product management disciplines: market analysis, customer segmentation, product discovery, roadmapping and prioritization.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how product decisions affect adoption, growth and profitability.
  • Nice to have: experience in the fuel supply chain, energy industry, data products and/or data analytics.
