Description

You would lead the company's strategy for researching new and emerging technologies and moving promising ones forward.

You will help define the organization's view on innovative technology and guide its mix of build, buy, and partner approaches to digital.

Your work centres on spotting high-potential emerging technologies and proving their value and return through fast pilots and proofs of concept.

The company consults and partners with major brands across industries, building platforms and digital experiences, with over twenty years in the field and a people-first approach.

Strong candidates think strategically, follow market trends closely, adapt quickly, and have taken early-stage, complex technology products from rough idea to validated MVP through prototyping and iterative testing, working with a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the in-house expert on external and emerging technology, tracking competitors, market shifts, and how to position the organization to lead in healthcare technology innovation.
  • Own the full lifecycle of new digital initiatives, from market research and discovery through requirements, pilot launch, and validation.
  • Turn the innovation strategy into a roadmap that delivers business results.
  • Use market insights and data to find and rank outside technology opportunities that fit the strategic goals.
  • Run the proof-of-concept process with quick experiments and pilots that test technical feasibility, user uptake, and financial return before anything is scaled.
  • Convert customer needs and technical findings into clear product specifications and requirements, including user stories, features, and constraints.
  • Coordinate with engineering, compliance, regulatory, operations, and outside vendors to build, test, and launch solutions that are compliant, safe, reliable, and fit cleanly into existing platforms.
  • Set OKRs and analyze them to track the impact, performance, and financial value of pilots, and decide whether each one should pivot, stop, or scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of product management experience, with a record of launching successful software products.
  • Preferred: experience in an innovation lab, incubator, technology consulting, or managing emerging technology products.
  • A solid grasp of technology trends such as advanced AI/ML, automation, and digital health tools, and how they solve complex business problems.
  • Ability to think big picture, work through high ambiguity, and turn complex ideas into pilots with measurable results, with a history of building and championing business cases.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to influence executives, motivate teams, and argue for strategic ideas.
  • Experience in healthcare and the technology used within it. Knowledge of value-based care or chronic disease management is a plus.

Conditions

Travel of up to 25% in Denver, CO.

Hybrid work with flexible working hours.

Joining internal and external meetings by video call when needed.

Working onsite at corporate or client offices when needed.

Long periods seated at a desk working on a computer may be needed.

Bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching overhead may be needed.

Hand-eye coordination to operate computers and office equipment.

Close vision, tolerance of fluorescent lighting, and the ability to adjust focus.

For travel or event roles, lifting 25 lbs may be needed.

Travel and event roles require a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record, as driving is essential to the job.

Hiring is based on merit, and reasonable accommodations are provided on request, absent undue hardship.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary package, share plan, company performance bonuses, value-based recognition awards, and a referral bonus.
  • Career coaching, global career opportunities including non-linear paths, and internal programs for building management and technical leadership skills.
  • Learning through complex projects, rotations, internal tech communities, training, certifications, coaching, online learning subscriptions, pass-it-on sessions, workshops, and conferences.
  • Employee assistance program, a global internal wellbeing program, and access to wellbeing apps.
  • Internal tech communities, hobby clubs, interest groups, inclusion and diversity programs, and company events.
  • US full-time roles only, not contractor positions: medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability cover, and other options.
  • Flexible spending accounts for medical, transit, and dependent care.
  • Employer-paid life insurance and AD&D cover.
  • Health savings account paired with a low-cost, high-deductible medical plan.
  • 401(k) safe harbor plan with employer match, vesting immediately.
