Description

The company builds an AI creative platform for visual storytelling, used by millions of people worldwide.

It is developing an AI creative partner, built on leading models, that lets anyone make videos, images, characters and full stories at the speed a studio once needed.

The product is meant to be a collaborator rather than a quick clip generator. It understands what the creator is aiming for, works alongside them and carries a project from a single post through to a campaign or film.

The company's aim is to help creators realise their ideas, and this role helps shape that direction.

Values: ownership and impact, curiosity and growth, collaboration and openness, and human-centred design.

Responsibilities

  • Design the experience of making something, from a creator's first message to work they feel proud of.
  • Let creators steer the process: they state a goal, watch it take form, adjust it and keep moving without losing track of their work.
  • Shape the AI agent's words and behaviour so it asks a useful question when you're stuck, shows progress while people wait, and takes responsibility when it gets something wrong.
  • Keep tools and files where creators expect them, so a quick test can become a full project without moving anything.
  • Make sure the system never leaves creators doing all the work. As new capabilities arrive, the process should feel simpler, not more cluttered.
  • Work out how designers and AI can work together: prototype with AI, direct it and define how it behaves. No established playbook exists, and you will help write one.

Requirements

  • You have changed how a product is structured, not only how it looks.
  • You have designed for AI or other systems where behaviour is the interface.
  • You use AI in your daily work, such as prototyping in code, Claude, Figma Make or similar tools, and you have clear views on where it helps.
  • You build polished, considered UI that makes things clearer.
  • You write clearly, since the words in a product are part of the design.
  • You think about the whole product, not only your own screens.
  • You turn unclear problems into clear structure.
  • You welcome feedback and enjoy building with others.
  • You adapt easily as tools change every month.
  • You can explain why a structure is right, not just that it looks right.
  • You have reshaped a product's structure, not just its surface, and can say what you would now do differently.
  • You have designed a feature where AI behaves, and you know where to trust it.
  • You move comfortably between mapping an object model and refining a single transition.
  • You care about creators and storytelling, and you want to be early to how design and AI come together.

Conditions

Full-time role based in the Bay Area, on-site or hybrid.

You will work closely with founders and the global engineering team.

Visa sponsorship is available.

Creative tools are moving from producing clips to delivering finished work, and an agent that handles the whole job alongside you is the likely direction. The decisions made in the coming quarters will shape the product for years, and here those decisions are design choices. This is a good place to shape how designers and AI work together.

Send your resume and portfolio to the company's site.
