Description

The company builds an AI-powered operations platform for the fresh food supply chain. It helps growers, shippers, distributors, and processors handle food safety, supplier work, inspections, and compliance with software that avoids heavy setup, per-seat fees, and locked-in workflows typical of older systems.

The platform works on mobile, deploys quickly, and connects with the tools companies already use. The company is young, works closely with customers to improve teamwork and compliance, and wants to make food systems safer and more resilient.

In this role you will shape the design of the product from first research through interaction design, prototypes, and final visual polish. You will work daily with engineers, leadership, and customers to turn messy supply chain processes into clear digital tools, and you will set the look and feel standard across the product and marketing as the company grows.

Responsibilities

  • Take design projects from first idea to finished product, producing wireframes, user flows, detailed mockups, and clickable prototypes for desktop and mobile web.
  • Run user research, customer interviews, and usability tests to understand what growers, shippers, and distributors actually need.
  • Create and keep up a scalable design system so the interface stays consistent and teams can build faster.
  • Work with Product Management to set product requirements, turn business goals into UX solutions, and decide which user-facing features come first.
  • Work with Engineering during build to keep production matching the design.
  • Turn complicated data, workflows, and compliance steps into simple interfaces people can use without training.

Requirements

  • 3+ years as a product designer, UX/UI designer, or similar, working on complex B2B SaaS or enterprise web and mobile applications.
  • A portfolio that shows end-to-end product design, user research, wireframing, high-fidelity UI, and design system work.
  • Proficiency in Figma and prototyping, and experience using AI tools to build experiences.
  • A solid grasp of mobile-first design, responsive layouts, and accessibility standards.
  • Clear communication, including explaining design decisions to stakeholders from across the business.
  • Nice to have: experience in supply chain, logistics, food, or agriculture software.
  • You understand users well and can turn non-technical feedback into intuitive product solutions.
  • You enjoy early-stage settings where you help shape product strategy as well as deliver it.
  • You communicate clearly and confidently in writing, on video calls, and when presenting to business owners.
  • You are a good teammate who likes working with others.
  • You want to see your work make daily operations easier for people doing real jobs in the field.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay and meaningful equity at a fast-growing company.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for staff in the US and Canada.
  • 401(k) savings plan for US staff.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Company-wide off-sites.
