Description

The company is building a large global digital sports platform where fans can buy, collect and bet. Its collectibles business runs on a platform that reaches more than 81 million fans across over 900 sports properties.

The Collector Engagement team is hiring a Product Designer III to design the collector-facing experiences for progression and quest programs, redemption and reward flows, leaderboards, and check-in moments at retail stores and live events.

The work centres on mechanics-heavy programs with real rules and real rewards. The main challenge is making complex systems easy to understand while keeping the excitement of collecting.

The company is also opening a technology hub in Mexico City focused on operational excellence, platform scalability, trust, and customer experience. That group works with Customer Experience, Trust & Safety, Fraud Prevention, Payments, and Financial Operations to build scalable systems and tooling for millions of users and transactions worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Design complete experiences for assigned collector programs, from initial flows and wireframes through production-ready UI, including prototypes.
  • Design collector screens that show progress across several programs at once without overloading the user.
  • Make rule-driven mechanics clear, covering eligibility, progress, reward tiers, expiry, and what happens when a collector does not qualify.
  • Design the move from physical cards to digital, including scanning and check-in flows that must work in dim lighting, on weak connections, and in crowded venues.
  • Build and extend shared components and patterns so each new program is put together from existing parts.
  • Work with frontend engineers every day on feasibility, interaction states, motion, and handoff, and stay involved through implementation review.
  • Help shape program mechanics with Product, not just how programs look.
  • Support accessibility, localization readiness, and consistency across collector-facing surfaces.
  • Test designs with collectors and against program data, then iterate on what you learn.
  • Take part in design critiques and help raise quality across the design team.
  • Keep up with consumer mobile design trends and bring relevant ones into collector experiences.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional product design experience.
  • A portfolio of shipped consumer mobile work where you owned end-to-end flows.
  • Ability to move from open-ended problems to flows, detailed interactions, and polished UI that engineers can build from.
  • Experience designing rule-based or state-heavy products such as progression, loyalty, wallets, or marketplaces.
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma, including building and maintaining components and variables.
  • Experience working within and adding to an established design system.
  • Knowledge of mobile interaction patterns, core accessibility practices, and platform conventions.
  • Ability to explain and defend design choices to Product and Engineering, and to change them when new information comes in.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Professional working proficiency in English, with daily collaboration with US-based stakeholders.
  • A bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred: Experience designing gamified systems, quests, achievements, or progression mechanics.
  • Preferred: Experience designing physical-to-digital interactions such as scanning, QR codes, or NFC.
  • Preferred: Motion and prototyping skills for showing reward, unlock, and reveal moments.
  • Preferred: Experience designing for live events, venues, or retail environments.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with design tokens and component libraries across several surfaces.
  • Preferred: Interest in sports, collectibles, creators, or digital communities.
