Description

The company is a Canadian digital automotive business whose flagship brands help Canadians buy, sell and finance vehicles with confidence.

Its dealer software serves more than 3,500 dealers, supporting their operations, marketing and sales.

The company belongs to a group that runs Europe's largest online car marketplace.

This senior role sits on the team behind the dealership CRM, a product that helps dealers build customer relationships, manage the sales pipeline and turn more opportunities into sales.

You will help turn an established CRM into one unified, intelligent platform that brings customer information, lead management, communications, follow-up and deal progress together, and simplifies complicated workflows for dealers every day.

Part of the work is exploring how AI, automation and customer insight can help dealership staff decide what to do next.

You will work with Product, Engineering and customer-facing teams to turn dealer needs into intuitive, consistent experiences, and help improve the design system, quality, consistency and accessibility of the product. Success is measured through product adoption, dealer efficiency, customer engagement and sales conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of end-to-end design for major parts of the CRM, from understanding dealer problems and defining them to delivering polished work and measuring its results.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to set priorities, explore options, and move features from discovery through prototyping, user testing, build and launch.
  • Make complex workflows across customer profiles, leads and pipelines, messages, tasks, appointments and deals easier to follow, so sales reps and managers can see what needs attention and act quickly.
  • Turn a lead-focused tool into a connected customer view that brings scattered information and activity together, with a smooth transition for current users.
  • Design AI and automation features that cut repetitive work, prompt timely follow-up, and turn customer data into clear next steps.
  • Explore varied concepts and set a clear design direction that balances a long-term vision with small, steady improvements.
  • Run dealer interviews, observe real workflows and test prototypes, combining qualitative research, customer feedback and product analytics to guide decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Help build and evolve the design system with Engineering to improve consistency, accessibility and implementation quality across the CRM.
  • Lead and join design critiques and cross-functional sessions, explaining your reasoning, asking for focused feedback and aligning the team on dealer needs.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of end-to-end design work, covering research, problem discovery, detailed interaction and visual design, and delivery.
  • Experience leading design for complex use cases within cross-functional teams.
  • A portfolio that shows strong visual and interaction design, with a focus on consumer and business results.
  • A clear point of view you can defend with your own expertise, design rationale, customer data and industry trends.
  • Self-driven, able to handle several tasks at once and adjust to changing business needs.
  • Bonus: experience in automotive and/or SaaS enterprise software products.
